i posted that in another post and i edited the first post..

I don't see any iron golems in my 1.2 Minecraft.
Why is that?

There needs to be at least 15 villagers in a given area for them to spawn naturally. If you still have problems, then just craft 4 iron blocks, place them in a T formation, and place a pumpkin on the top.

Golem Grinders are possible by stuffing at least 15 NPCs in something that resembles a house, making the golem spawn in a tank (create it).

Though this takes awhile, it does kill the golem and gives you the ingots.

I did some research at the MCWiki, as of the 1.2 Preview (Snapshot right before 1.2 release) It was implimented that Iron golems cannot drown. Bugger.

Did a bit more research today. As it turns out, you could also make a lava trap. Just don't put it at the golemn's feet, seeing this is where the items appear. Can't have the ingots disappear now!

EDIT: *races back to beat TSU to the SUPER SECRETLY ADDED UPDATES!*
New: SMOOTH SANDSTONE and DECORATED SANDSTONE!
To make smooth sandstone: put four regular sandstone into a 2x2 box.
to make decorated sandstone: put sandstone slab above another in a crafting grid.

NEW: WOOD TEXTURE VARIANTS!
Depending on the wood used, wood planks will look different! (Birch planks look a lot brighter than regular ones.)

Dude..don't even try to beat me when it comes to minecraft updates. i'm up an hour after the updates are up. (so like 5:00AM)
