Basically this update adds automatic farming with villagers that automatically replant things.
In the image, whenever a crop grows they break it and automatically replant it. If the crop doesn't go in the hopper, the villager saves it in their "virtual inventory" of some sort and when they get 3 wheat they make it into bread and it's pretty likely it'll land in the hoppers.
I have hoppers just as the floor inside in case they make the bread inside.
also the baby's name is oompa loompa
You can upgrade it further by putting dispenners somewhere with bonemeal in them

It's gonna suck when you're living in an npc village and your crops are suddenly gone because a nearby villager had picked them all.

they replant them, the only problem you'll actually have is you'll never get wheat. Also if they have seeds from wheat or something and they go to replant a potato they use the wheat seeds instead.

14w05a snapshot is out. With it comes blocked blocks for mapmakers, a spectator gamemode for mapmakers(cannot break or interact with buttons, can spectate from mob view without being seen. Basically you are in limbo).
Current bug is that seeds do not play a sound when planted. And I encountered an entity bug when fighting a skeleton in survival, and none of my blows would pierce it, when I was hitting its head from point blank. He killed me.
Also new ♥♥♥♥ added. What kind though?....What new goodies?

We can only hope that new hostile water mobs will accompany it.
Which means OCEANS ACTUALLY GET ♥♥♥♥:
Those blocks will most likely be transparent the same way glass is so you can't place redstone stuff or torches on them to get free air.
Which means all those water-related enchants and the potions will actually have a use outside of getting wet clay.

About time, especially with the utter ♥♥♥♥ excuse Dinnerbone (?) gave last time- I don't give a ♥♥♥♥ if you like water stuff, take responsibility for your game and make it enjoyable.
I realize this comes across as judgemental but the truth is I'm really enjoying the recent updates starting at about 1.6.
