There is now gliders in 1.9, not like open blocks gliders but ones you can go left, right, up and down, New mobs and end is now more interesting (still in snapshot though.) Btw we should do a server when it come out of snapshot.

damn those gliders are op. When combined with the boat + slime block trick you can travel over 10 000 blocks in one minecraft day!

New mode of transportation?

Gliders cannot be crafted, but Jeb did us a favor by making it possible to go through one-block gaps.

Also, the reviews on the telltale game so far are ♥♥♥♥. They didn't do much work architecturally, appparently.

I've been watching an LP of Story Mode lately and I'm enjoying it so far. Of course it does have its issues, but there's way worse stuff out there.

GET HYPE

The new Mending enchantment basically lets you make enchanted gear the correct way. This is extremely important and needs to be noted. Everything else idgaf about.

It's just dumb stuff about boats being fixed and a LAME new enchant that lets you walk on water anyway

I think these are called Elytras.
And one cool thing about it is that if you keep shoot yourself with a Punch II Bow while flying, you will keep flying forever, it even gains you height. The downside is that it takes a ton of health(this can be solved if you keep eating food) and Arrows(This can be fixed if you enchant the "Infinity" on the bow too).
