Day 3 (Master's Log):
I packed my bags and set out for Tsu's base. It took about 3 Minecraftian days, but I made it safely to him with a piece of bread to spare.
Day 4 (Master's Log):
We decided to try to set up a mine. I got a chunk error and discovered some nasty secrets under our base, such as an abandoned mine. We set off, and mined our way through the floor until we met blocks of wood.
The worst problem: Cave Spiders. We were poisoned countless times, and Raz luckily made it out with 1 heart after I hit him in panic. Later in the day we took care of the nasty nest of spiders and made our way out with untold riches.
Day 5 (Master's Log):
We've struck diamond today! When we headed back into the mineshaft, we saw some diamond sticking right out of the webbed walls! With the smack of an iron pick, we made it out of the shaft yet again with 6 diamonds. A nearby lava pool gifted us a great opportunity to grab some obsidian, hopefully to be used for a nether portal!

Camp in spawn at night. Attract mobs like zombies, skeletons, spiders, stock up on bonemeal and rotten flesh, there are tons of farms around the spawn, so just use bonemeal on those. Best idea ever. You can't take damage from mobs in the spawn.

Definitely heading back to base once I have a lot of bread + rotten flesh and tools from the spawn.

Aww. I joined earlier today and then died from a creeper a few hours in. The sad part is that I was with ChaosYoshi and he warned me, but I just turned around and guarded, not realizing I didn't have any armor on.

I also put a chest under it w/ worthless items, since it was annoying to juggle them. Consider them your afterlife items.
I got to the base, so that's all and good, though entertainment was lost.

Chaos made to to the base today. During the 3000 block trek, Vmk sadly passed when a creeper ninja'd him. I found some more diamonds in the mineshaft - a vein of 7 and a vein of 5 - and showed Chaos around the base a little more.
At the end of the day, we found a slime chunk by luck! We hope to set up a farm soon!

EDIT 2: Justt made a ban appeal. I tthink it's the part where I said "render/chunk error" that got their attention

Good news.
r/HCSMP says that people have been tidying up the spawn with lots of melons and such for new members to use.
We have to log on fast if we want to get those melons first.

I'm still at the base, and there's been no intrusions so far (not really that surprised for this far out). Just get the melons you can and get yo' asses over here.

I got on for the first time this month and tried to get melons. no one could break blocks for some reason, but i killed a chicken and a creeper and picked up eight pine saplings. Go me.
