Works for me, you must have something wrong.

Also, call me crazy, but I'm going to try using my XBox 360 Controller, so if I'm stumbling about awkwardly, that's probably why. For the curious, here's how my controls are set up:

Controller Config: show

Left Stick - Move
Right Stick - Look
A - Jump
B - Throw
X - Chat
Y - Inventory
LB - Sneak
RB - Zoom
LT - Attack
RT - Use Item
Start - Pause/Escape
Back - Change camera angle
Control Pad Left/Right - Scroll through items
C-Pad Up - First item
C-Pad Down - Fifth item

Similar to the controls in the XBox version of Minecraft, but customized to fit my playstyle. If you have any questions about this config, let me know and I'll answer them best I can. Not that many people will look at this, mind you; I doubt anybody will, but I was bored, so I decided to list it.

For things like chatting and navigating menus, I'm obviously going to use the keyboard and mouse.

Controls set up using JoyToKey. Google it if you don't know what that is.

Karyete, are you running the Feed The Beast modpack?

That's all I can think of that would give you the "server outdated" message when trying to connect. The server has switched from plain vanilla Minecraft to FTB a few weeks ago now, so if you want to join you'd need to download the .exe found here. It's an entirely separate launcher, so there's no complicated messing with jar files or anything, just drag it to your desktop and run it.

We're currently using the Mindcrack pack, but to actually join you'll need to first disable the GregTech mod via the Edit Modpack button. If you have any questions just ask, it's a little tricky to get used to at first.

Why does server keep crashing like every 20 minutes

You need to download the FTB Launcher here, first. Select the MindCrack modpack, log on, and wait a minute or two for the client to be ready. After it's finished loading, close your client and start the launcher again. This time, select "Edit Mod Pack" and remove "GregTechMod_2.75b". Then you log on again, go to the Multiplayer screen, and re-enter the server's IP. You'll be golden from there on.

Any nukes detonated within a 500 block radius of someone's house will result in a ban.

Any sirens must be visible, with a clearly labelled off switch. Failure to do so will result in me tearing the ♥♥♥♥ out of your house until I find it. Any hiding of sirens to aggravate other players will be a warning, followed by a ban if you do not remove them.

There are other ways to get back at people. Please do something creative, that won't make the entire server hate you.
