So, this is a custom texture pack from Oranj that I edited several things into it. There's mainly graphical changes, like slimes being blue and no pixels inside of glass.

CHANGELOG:

My Changes:
  • Bow + Arrow changed to a Gun and Bullet
  • Diamonds appear in a jet black shade, as well as diamond tools. Ore is a little ackward looking atm
  • Diamond tools have a stick recolored to look like the original diamond ore
  • Background on TP/Server/World list is stone brick instead of dirt
  • New panover for the title screen
  • Hotbar has shades of green blue and red
  • Some paintings are changed
  • Preist wears a suit and tie
  • Pumpkins are computers that are turned off
  • Jackolanterns are computers that are turned on
  • Wearing a pumpkin gives you a screen filled with numbers, but is a little easier to see through than normal
  • The cursor looks more like a crosshair
  • Slimes have been recolored to be blue
  • If I've changed anything else, than I've forgotten about that, lol

Oranj's Changes:
  • Border around ores that match the color of the ore itself
  • Extreme Hills grass color changed slightly
  • Glass doesn't have the ugly pixels in the center of panes/blocks
  • Other things I probably don't remember

(You'll have to tell me if you changed anything else OJ)

NOTE: You will have to create a folder to extract all the files to. It doesn't seem to work as a .zip file for me. Simply extract the .zip files to the folder you created for this, and move that to the texturepack folder. If it works, your screen should turn from dirt blocks to stone brick

I think what happened to make your file incorrectly formatted is the fat that you turned the file itself into a .zip folder, and not the contents alone (it could be the other way around, I haven't made a .zip folder for a long time).

EDIT: It turns out that was the case, but now to evaluate the texture pack;

  • While you recolored the diamond items and ore, you didn't recolor the diamond block, and I don't like how the new diamonds look like deformed onyx, and the ores look like lapis-lazuli blocks.
  • Why a gun for the bow? And why are the bullets-for-arrows so huge?
  • Why a computer for the pumpkin?
  • The removal of the glint-like pixles is pretty common among texure packs, and it looks nice.
  • I'm not sure if I like the border color to the ores or not.

Otherwise, it doesn't seem like you changed much

Damn it what did you do to it? I hate everything you changed. I sent the DL link to you because you said you didn't like the grass color when we were working on the SG map. You also need to put the original DL link in the post. All it really was supposed to be was some subtle changes to make the textures look a bit better (i.e. getting rid of the dark spots on wood) and to make to make ores easier to notice.

I was gonna make ice look better but I got lazy and whatever the hell.

I also specifically told you not to post it on the forums unless I decided otherwise. Next time ask me before you do this.

tl;dr: why

I don't like the concept of replacing the bow & arrow with a gun & cartridge.
I don't see the point of coloring the diamonds black.
The background change, the panorama change, and the hotbar change is alright.
I don't care much for the paintings.
I don't really like the priest change.
The pumpkin to computer change doesn't make much sense.
I don't really mind the cursor.
The slime recolor is cool, but I prefer green.

The border around ores is useful.
The glass change is wonderful.
