Minecraft Suggestions

Having to provoke it makes sense. I'm all for it, especially considering how few bosses there are in the game. Of course, I've never fought the Wither since I haven't had the patience to grind Wither Skeles for their heads. Although, considering the low amount of bosses, having the majority of them being dragons seems a little overkill, don't you think?

Speaking of unused content, that gear sounded interesting, as well as the quiver. The gear especially so, not being able to place redstone on walls can get frustrating. The quiver would be especially nice if it didn't take up an item slot (you could equip it to a special slot, like armor) and if it showed you how many arrows you had on the HUD. Kinda like the ArmorStatusHUD mod...

While taking a crap(this is how I come up with my ideas...my thinking time), I had this idea for a mob.

Stone Golems and Sirens.

Stone Golems are hostile golems that spawn in caverns. They are more commonly seen down at about y=20> and spawn in colonies of about...say...four. They appear cracked, have small patches of moss, and in some places may look to be made of obsidian. Their eyes look like lava, everchanging, and they are very extremely temperamental. Stay out of their way and they don't mess with you. Get in front of them and you can be thrown. Their more common way of attacking is to throw blocks, which act as if they are placed and will stack. To do this, the golem will pick up blocks nearby, regardless if it is dirt or obsidian, and throw it, and depending on what block it is is how hard it will hit. Its second form of attack is to hit you like a normal golem, but with about a 1-2 heart greater difference than that of its cousin. Finally, if it feels cornered or trapped, like if it falls into a hole it can't get out of, it will explode like a creeper, albeit a small explosion.

Second is the Sirens. And no, I don't mean those mermaids. Sirens are eyes(like, no kidding, giant actual eyes) that act as the security of the Nether Fortress. They cannot be harmed, cannot be killed, and are merely demonic entities of limbo. They float about in a path preset by how the corridors spawn in the fortress, regardless if the blocks are broken, blown up, or placed. They merely keep going, and will float right through, since they are spirits. Get in their way and they won't do a thing. They seem passive, but if they glide through you, they can burn and give you the wither effect. These badmuthas will alert any Pigmen nearby if you damage the fortress in any way by letting out a very very disturbing howl, and all nearby pigmen will be aggro'd. The Sirens will also become hostile for a short amount of time, which you can tell by the color of their iris.

Green iris= Passive.
Red= Aggro, will attack by shooting lightning bolts, and will chase the player in haphazard paths.
Blue= Calm, can become aggro'd if they spot a threat.

HOWEVER, Sirens can fade away out of limbo and head to the afterlife if you can find their shrine in the fortress. It is merely four redstone torches surrounding a chest, with four lava flows in four corners. Simply patch up the lava flow, and you will see redstone blocks were where the lava flowed. Break those, and the Sirens will no longer haunt you. Their shrines may or may not contain goodies, if anything its bones and rotton flesh, but on rare occasion you can find an enchanted armor piece, if not a bow or sword, maybe a pick.

Another idea I came up with is the Damned Souls. I'm still planning out how these will differ from other mobs.

Very interesting ideas, I like. Something I would add to the sirens is maybe have them emit a glow? Nether Fortress corridors can be really dark, so having a bit of advance warning would be nice so you don't round a corner and instantly run into a siren.

What I'm thinking is add mobs that only fit in with particular set difficulties. You won't see a Siren on Easy, and Normal it has a few setbacks, like it can either be passive or aggro.

Boss mobs for Hard Difficulty will make the game even more worth playing, because then there could be achievement branches that are only unlocked when a particular difficulty is played. Want to fight the Red Dragon or perhaps the tyrannic Nethergod himself? Take a swing at Hard/Hardcore. Want to get that "Overkill" achievement for killing 10 zombies in Hard in one night? Switch over to hard. Tweak the giant a bit and make him an actual giant, instead of a zombie. Trim down his size, tweak his muscles and his posture, give him a more unique form, and make him a boss for Hard. That kind of stuff. Things that not only keep Vanilla from becoming like its a factory or train station, but things that keep Vanilla as it should be. Unique, rustic, and survival based.

I'm also looking to Minecraft Comes Alive styled Villagers if at all possible, that are slightly more intelligent and can conversate with the player.

FINNALY SOMEONE WITH THE SAME IDEA! :awe:

How about making villagers just like the player, but with a different skin. Also, make villager houses better constructed, like, you know those villager houses that are completely empty? How about adding furniture and stronger buildings?

Some item/ mob/ block ideas:
BUTTER!!!!
Craft-able chain-mail
Some mobs from Mo's Creatures Mod (Bears, Birds, Snakes, etc.)
lightning creeper spawn egg
Adding/ Readding Herobrine
Easier server creation

THOSE ARE MY IDEAS!!!! :troll:

No. Villagers are fine the way they are and unique. I like them this way. All they are meant to be are things to trade with. Nothing more, nothing less.

skydoesminecraft is the worst youtuber I've probably ever seen on youtube. He's terrible and unfunny and annoying as hell.
No. Chain-mail is meant to be special and to be found in dungeon and on mobs.
the mojang team worked with DrZhark for horses so maybe.
There's no point, creepers are the same as lightning creepers. If you have a spawnegg that means you can spawn a commandblock to spawn a lightning creeper.
What.
It's easy as it is. Youtube tutorials are great.

My idea was to add a totally different kind of villager, not remove the vanilla one.
Like, there be an evolved form of the villager, and keep the Neanderthal version we have.

That's just opinionated, though, Not everyone likes him.

I think he's okay...only part I like is his mod showcases and his survival games. Everything else is meh.
