So how the hell do we combat a baby zombie in the daytime if zombies burn in the sun? I doubt those MFers run fast enough to put out fires...

In creative mode or with cheats (as you can only get spawn eggss in these modes), a player can spawn baby villagers by right-clicking on an adult villager with the villager spawner egg. Babies are also made by villagers when there are sufficient amount of doors in a village. Baby villagers may turn into baby zombie villagers when they are killed by zombies. Baby Zombies are the same as regular zombies with these exceptions: They will not burn in sunlight. They move faster than regular zombies. They do not grow up unless cured. When they wear armor it shrinks to fit their body size Through a map editor or an NBT editor, it is possible to get normal baby zombies. They behave like baby villager zombies: they don't burn up, move faster, and don't grow. The same applies for baby zombie Pigmen. Also, in 1.6.2, normal baby zombies will now spawn.
I have never seen a baby Zombie Pigman. Have any of you?

Baby pigmen are terrifying if you happen to provoke them. Seeing as they're even faster than a baby zombie and more powerful, they are a force to be reckoned with in vanilla.

I've seen them a few times. Never had the balls to provoke them though, not unless it was by its lonesome and I had an awesome bow.

there is literally no reason to do this unless you actually intended to piss an entire server off
And don't even start on quartz mining, just be careful. Make a wall or something if there are that many pigmen that could get in your way.
Speaking of pigmen, I had a weird idea. I don't really know how to explain it but I was thinking maybe there could be little hut things in the nether that housed exiled pigmen, like witch huts in the OW. Dunno how they would work. Maybe they're more advanced than their brethren or something, with brewing stands in the houses (and filled cauldrons omg). Maybe they'd look like pigmen but have cool-ass goggles and pelt you with potions, IDK.

Considering even if you're mining, your pickaxe won't hurt them unless you let go of the mouse and reclick directly on a pigman. A pickaxe that is mining an ore will not hurt any mob, even if it walks directly in front.
As for reasons to provoke them, gold drops? They are reliable sources of gold nuggets for UHC, which is pretty much the only vanilla gamemode worth playing.
No but really, I enjoy pissing off pigmen when I know I can deal with them/am aware of their pissed off state, because I do not appreciate people mining directly outside anything I build (including nether portals) and they are very effective crowd control.
