Thoughts on the marketplace at spawn?

The stall/path layout is too rigid and blocky- we should redo it.

This coming weekend Raz and I are probably going to do the switch; I'd do FTB and he'd do vanilla. This would likely mean a full map reset, as the 1.5 prerelease introduces new nether ores that would not exist in pre-generated chunks. As well, there has been pressure from some of the FTB regulars to bring back Gregtech (so basically Mindcrack/Ultimate), meaning it would be a reset of both maps.

I don't care which. If we do Ultimate, everyone would have to disable Mystcraft cause crashy-crashy, but otherwise it really doesn't matter to me. (Most game-changing difference to me, though it may not matter to you guys, is the minimap- MC has Rei's, and Ultimate has Voxel. I prefer Rei's atm, but apparently Voxel has way more cool features and stuff that are supposed to be really useful.)

What about using the solar and macerator recipes with Gregtech, but nothing else? 'Cause solars really annoy me (they're uber OP with that advanced solars mod, but everyone except me seems to dislike the much more fair arrays that direwolf has), and macerators double your ores at the cost of some of the most worthless items in the game.

Can we just use direwolf20 anyway and experience IC2 as it was meant to be, instead of as how the author of GregTech (quite rudely) plastered it

Kay so there's only been two people giving input on what pack we should use.

Basically it seems to be a split between Direwolf (left completely as is, no modifications or anything) and Ultimate (but with the IC2 recipes that would be affected by GregTech disabled). More input would be cool, lol.

I've had a go at Ultimate, and I honestly believe that we should stick with Direwolf. Ultimate is still in beta, and I'm sure we're more familiar with Direwolf.

...and Ultimate lags the hell out of me but you know
