Are we planning on restoring the map ever..? At least after today's uhc or whatever? I'm pretty sure at least nin and I were interested in getting it back, and I'm sure the people who play but don't really use the forums would be interested, since they're probably a little out of the loop and just want to play the game.

When I go into the server i found that i am in hardcore mode and i am keep losing hearts in the void in nether so i leave the server immediately to not get banned. But i have the same inventory since my last log in to that server. Is there something wrong?

We started playing again on a customized Amplified world (mostly so that we can play with elytra when we get them eventually). IP is the same: 192.210.236.35:25765. EDIT: whoops, should probably mention that we'll be running the latest 1.9 snapshot.
One important restriction is that we're going to try not to rush through the progression. That means that you should wait at the very least 4-5 days before trying to access the nether (preferably longer, ideally a few weeks), just so that we don't all become incredibly desynchronized and ruin the fun for people who are taking it more casually and focusing more on building than on trying to get potions and kill the dragon and everything. We want this map to last.
In addition to our No Rush rule, try to refrain from strip/branch-mining close to settlement, if you can. In small quantities it's fine but if you're planning on a large operation, try to take it further away so as not to disrupt any builds.
If you have rendering issues, try lowering your render distance. The server default is set to 5 chunks, because the amplified world was causing extreme CPU and RAM spikes and generally just lagging everyone out.
