Fire :: The Shirohi Order: show
Territory/Screenshots
It's quite easy to see why the Fire Guild claims the Southeastern quadrant of Elemyn. With miles/kilometers of desert and a dormant composite volcano, the Fire Guild is the hottest sector of the continent. Not to say there is no moisture, being surrounded by water on three sides and having both a river and the shade of mesas and buttes, and the acacia trees of the center savannah. To the south of the main continent is a red desert island, having true mesas, and the deepest canyon of Elemyn.
History
In the early history of the world of Runouw, Mount Quroji was just that; a mount. It's peak was not open, nor was it gushing molten rock. With this false sense of security, indigenous peoples migrated south from the southern jungle of the upper half of Elemyn (Altite). They sought land to build on freely, without disturbing the lush forests of the north. Already appreciative of nature from their northern ancestors, generation to generation, their respect expanded into a love of all life. They worshiped no god, only respected their resources, as if all of them had a soul of their own, from the vibrant plants to the peaceful animals to the silent rocks and minerals.
Culturally, they excelled. The eastern canyons and even the western desert were filled with sprawling cities and brilliant architecture in a matter of a two or three centuries. If all their resources were used, and I mean all of it, they were happy, and surprisingly, they achieved such a feat.
Then a thundering sound awoke the whole area one night. Many looked out their windows and saw Mount Quroji burst open, magma, fire, and soot now raining down. It would not stop; lava flowed for weeks. The lava reached every end of the deserts. Only those lucky enough to live in the western mesas had a chance, and even they had no shelter from the heated rocks constantly raining down. Ultimately, only one town remained, a small pueblo village stuck between two mesas. Only they survived the black fire that rained down on Southeast Elemyn. They cared not of the soot and smoke that continued northeastward.
Finally, the eruption had subsided, and a new respect arose in their ideas; a fear, more like. A fear of destruction. Unsurprisingly, they saw the Sky People of the northwest as physical embodiments of destruction. Shortly after, the dead arose as well, as skeletons and rotting flesh, and Endermen and Creepers had suddenly appeared, destroying what little beauty their territory had left. With these threats, they abandoned beauty and culture, and focused simply on protecting what little life they had left; their own. Life remained militant, yet simple, for centuries. Then, a prodigy appeared.
Political Setup
The Shirohi Order is in simplest terms, a band of thieves. In their downtime, building is encouraged.
The leader, Nin Shirogane, organizes all large undertakings. This mainly includes builds, planned pillages and assassinations, as well as alliances, should the Order be in any position to be in one. Feel free to suggest ideas, but don't carry them out without her permission.
Anything else can be done freely. (ie Hunting, small thefts, 'personal' (RP) fights, farming, exploring, mining)
Do not steal directly from other guilds' land, only through chests.
All resources are shared. Hoard as a group, not as an individual. Take out whatever you want, so long as you make good use of it.
Don't throw anything away. Waste not want not.
Repair any damage done in our territory.
Preserve the beauty of the land. Anything you take out from the surface, try to make it seamless. Giant rectangles are a no. Tardpillars are a no.

Water :: The Tundra: show
Territory
It's fair that this band of warriors claim this section. Snow covers as far as the eye can see - icicle spears have erected from the ground all over the fields, and snowy mountains separate my butts. These people have grown accustomed to the cold, and it's powerful mountains hold many minerals of worth. Those who prefer the hot climates may be in for a surprise, as it takes some getting used to to withstand such low temperatures.
You're allowed to roam the lands of the ice if you do not intend to cause harm. Of course, you are permitted to slay animals for food, and chop trees for supplies. However, keep the land nice, and do not ruin it's calm look. If you see another person, it's recommended you don't try to look hostile, since doing so could get you killed.
History
A small settlement was lying on the edge of the land of the snow. Peace was all around the homes of few - a brilliant selection of animals, good soil for the crops, happy, friendly neighbours and settlers, and to top it all off, a fantastic view of Mount Quroji.
Little did they know that this Mount would spell their doom.
One night, a booming sound echoed throughout the world, and this alarmed the settlement. They looked into the distance, and a gleaming orange and red magma flow was streaming out of the Mount. Alongside it came a terrifying monster of ash. This ash was making a beeline for the settlement's land - everybody packed their essentials, with a few exceptions that believed they should die there, and ran. The majority did not succeed, for ravines and caves and freezing lakes were scattered around the land.
A small band of survivors had formed a group, and holed up in a mountain, using what resources they had. They attempted to defend against the undead, and the Endermen that flocked the lands, transmitting their fatal and frightening virus to increase their population. To this day, the amount of members has shrunk considerably, but the guild still remains. There is still purpose.
Political Setup
You are allowed to mine, chops trees and do other small survival tasks in order for survival. You must confer with each other before doing big projects.
If you see an intruder, you may attack them, but if they are not doing anything or doing something harmless, then do not randomly jump at them. If you feel you need to defend yourself then do so, even if they don't look like they're about to strike you.
Keep the land clean. Do not make tardpillars and do not make anything look unnatural.
Do NOT keep all valuables for yourself. Share what you have, whatever you have. Whatever you mine is not just yours, but the entire guilds. There is a leader (Karyete) but only to provide tactics and a small amount of leadership. Anything you feel is important to know can be told to Karyete, whatever it is. If the entire guild is voting on something, Karyete's vote is no larger than anyone else's. Everybody has a say.

Earth :: The Racci: show
Territory/Screenshots
[SCREENSHOTS ARE TEMPORARY]
The lands of the Racci are without a doubt the most beautiful in Elemyn. The vegetation provided by the Yggsdrasil give the land around it with gorgeous waterfalls, beautiful jungles full of fruit, and trees so big and so tall that they block the view of the sky. Nowhere in the land of the Racci is absent of the beauty granted by the Yggsdrasil.
History
Before the Racci or the Sky people arrived in Elemyn, there was no vegetation. The only thing in the barren wasteland were tall mountains of stone and deep craters of hardened clay. One day a sudden shake in the earth caused a single sapling to rise from the ground. For years, it grew and grew, and eventually the Sky people arrived, settling in the mountains of the far west. As it grew, trees and flowers started to sprout along with it.
Eventually the Racci arrived, and by this time the great Sequoia trees of today were nothing more than trees as tall as the trees of the jungle. A disagreement between the way the new Guild should be run led to the seperation of the two guilds. The Racci was formed, claiming all of the western part of the land before the plains. The Ciins, the other guild, claimed all of the eastern area. The two guilds split up all the weapons, but a trick by the Racci left the Ciins with nothing but primitive spears and blowguns, while the Racci had guns and axes. Eventually the Ciins dissolved, leading to most of the guild spreading south to the mesas of the southern island. Once the Racci received words of the news, they expanded their guild to the eastern lands once owned by the Ciins, taking in any Ciins who stayed behind.
By this time, the Racci were stronger than ever. They used the abundance of lumber to sell to others in return for valuables. The Yggsdrasil was the tallest in the land, even taller than the mountains of the sky people. There wasn't a place where people were happier than in the Racci territory.
One day the Yggsdrasil suddenly grew, faster than it ever had before. It caused the ground to rumble, and the trees around it to grow at exponentially fast rates. All of Elemyn was eventually effected, causing the mountains of the sky people to grow taller, a volcano to finally emerge in the southern desert, and a forest to grow farther southwest than it ever had before. The citizens of Racci believe it was because the Yggsdrasil was angered by people not caring for the land it had created.
The rumble had destroyed all the cities in Racci and had required them to rebuild, but they had lost everything. They eventually started rebuilding, and that is where they are today.
Political Setup
The Racci is a guild of merchants who's main exports are flowers, lumber, and baked goods like cookies.
There is no leader in the Racci. Everyone in the guild has a say in anything the guild may want to plan.
Stealing from others in the guild is strictly not allowed, you must ask for permission before taking anything.
Repair any damage to the land, or it may anger the Yggsdrasil again.
Do NOT build in the Yggsdrasil, or you face an immediate exile. That's not to say you can't build around it, though.
If a raid happens, and you aren't there to protect it, that does NOT mean you have to live in it.

Air :: Legion of the Silver Sky: show
[c]AIR: Legion of the Silver Sky
Territory/Screenshots:
Birch forests surround the eastern edge of the mountain.
The eastern peak isn't the tallest, but it is the source of many northern rivers.
View looking southwest from just below the central (and highest) summit.
Air's unique floating village.
Air's territory is home to stunning landforms, like this bamboo forest.
History:
The Air territory was first settled by the Sky People long before anyone else was present in Elemyn. They chose to make their brilliant cities in my butts that circle the highest mountain summit- partly because something about the mountain inexplicably pulled at their heartstrings, and partly because of the night sky view. For numerous generations, they were content to develop art and science in the floating butt cities. They rarely left (not only was the ground overrun with monsters night, the air was less pure elsewhere) and so were pleasantly surprised to learn that there were new occupants in Elemyn.
The Skydwellers are not a hostile race, and quickly established peaceful relations with the newcomers. Trips down to the surface world were now commonplace, and a few daring adventurers even went up to see my butt cities firsthand- although, for some reason, they would fall straight through my butts without the help of specially enchanted footwear. This was the era of industry, with the newcomers sharing their knowledge of stone and metalworking to create tools and weaponry, and the Sky People introducing the rather primitive ground tribes to a more civilized way of life.
The peace would not last, though. One day a volcano erupted in the far away Fire realm, belching ash and flame miles into the air. Wind currents blew it over the central ocean and into Air territory, where it quickly tainted the pure atmosphere and snow-white cities. Darkened with the suffocating ash, the cities broke apart and fell to the ground, raining priceless artifacts on the ground people below.
Many died that day during the fall, and many more died in the following weeks as the dense ash blotted out the sun. The few survivors banded together for mutual support, and retreated into the mountain until the air had cleared. The normally peaceful Air communities split into two groups, those took it as a sign to move on and did so without complaint, and those who swore revenge on the people who destroyed their lives.
Political Setup:
Air is governed by no single ruler, but rather a collection of individuals expanding the guild's influence by striving for their own goals. As such, living together is allowed (assuming everyone involved is okay with it) but not encouraged- doing so may expose both your companions and their resources in the event of a raid or war. Despite this, Air is a relatively close guild, and help will always be readily available to those who require it.
There is no limit on settling, although you are asked to keep your area of the map maintained. This includes replanting trees, fixing mob damage, repopulating animals, and generally striving toward attractive builds. Please refrain from pillaring straight up whenever possible, if it's required, be sure to remove it when you're done.
Individual members are allowed to react to visitors as they think best, however, they should remember that Air is still a community and acts of needless violence may not be supported by the rest of the guild.
