Territory/ScreenshotsIt's quite easy to see why the Fire Guild claims the Southeastern quadrant of Elemyn. With miles/kilometers of desert and a dormant composite volcano, the Fire Guild is the hottest sector of the continent. Not to say there is no moisture, being surrounded by water on three sides and having both a river and the shade of mesas and buttes, and the acacia trees of the center savannah. To the south of the main continent is a red desert island, having true mesas, and the deepest canyon of Elemyn.
HistoryIn the early history of the world of Runouw, Mount Quroji was just that; a mount. It's peak was not open, nor was it gushing molten rock. With this false sense of security, indigenous peoples migrated south from the southern jungle of the upper half of Elemyn (Altite). They sought land to build on freely, without disturbing the lush forests of the north. Already appreciative of nature from their northern ancestors, generation to generation, their respect expanded into a love of all life. They worshiped no god, only respected their resources, as if all of them had a soul of their own, from the vibrant plants to the peaceful animals to the silent rocks and minerals.
Culturally, they excelled. The eastern canyons and even the western desert were filled with sprawling cities and brilliant architecture in a matter of a two or three centuries. If all their resources were used, and I mean all of it, they were happy, and surprisingly, they achieved such a feat.
Then a thundering sound awoke the whole area one night. Many looked out their windows and saw Mount Quroji burst open, magma, fire, and soot now raining down. It would not stop; lava flowed for weeks. The lava reached every end of the deserts. Only those lucky enough to live in the western mesas had a chance, and even they had no shelter from the heated rocks constantly raining down. Ultimately, only one town remained, a small pueblo village stuck between two mesas. Only they survived the black fire that rained down on Southeast Elemyn. They cared not of the soot and smoke that continued northeastward.
Finally, the eruption had subsided, and a new respect arose in their ideas; a fear, more like. A fear of destruction. Unsurprisingly, they saw the Sky People of the northwest as physical embodiments of destruction. Shortly after, the dead arose as well, as skeletons and rotting flesh, and Endermen and Creepers had suddenly appeared, destroying what little beauty their territory had left. With these threats, they abandoned beauty and culture, and focused simply on protecting what little life they had left; their own. Life remained militant, yet simple, for centuries. Then, a prodigy appeared.
Political SetupThe Shirohi Order is in simplest terms, a band of thieves. In their downtime, building is encouraged.
The leader, Nin Shirogane, organizes all large undertakings. This mainly includes builds, planned pillages and assassinations, as well as alliances, should the Order be in any position to be in one. Feel free to suggest ideas, but don't carry them out without her permission.
Anything else can be done freely. (ie Hunting, small thefts, 'personal' (RP) fights, farming, exploring, mining)
Do not steal directly from other guilds' land, only through chests.
All resources are shared. Hoard as a group, not as an individual. Take out whatever you want, so long as you make good use of it.
Don't throw anything away. Waste not want not.
Repair any damage done in our territory.
Preserve the beauty of the land. Anything you take out from the surface, try to make it seamless. Giant rectangles are a no. Tardpillars are a no.
