I love this. The only problem with it is how it's so big.

An idea on guild sorting when people first join came to my head at school, and I've brain stormed it for a while. Basically a spawn hub where they read a backstory or whatever, and they put the key(the book[backstory]) in a hopper that will unlock the door to the guild room, which will list the four guilds, their alignments, and their summary. Buttons on each guild will set the person to that guild and teleport them to the guild's area, and that's that. Commandblocks would do the work, hiding the command actions for the player, setting color and guild, teleporting, and then unhiding the command actions with another commandblock that will say "Welcome to _______!", at every guild base that greets people who enter the guild territory. There would be no way back to the spawnhubguildthing, so they have to decide.

Another way would be the auto-sort, which would use a redstone circuit that followed a path. Like, one person joins one guild, the circuit deactivates all guildjointhings except for the second one, so the second person joins the second guild. Same process, except the third is activated, and third joins third guild. Rinse and repeat for fourth, and then the whole process turns over again.

I dunno.

Anyone who joins, this is how to install the brushes.

- Open world painter.
- Select "tools" > "open custom brushes folder"
- Copy and paste the images in the .zip download into the custom brushes folder.
- Relaunch world painter.

Progress. Suggest more physical features. I know already that I need to make Water the prettiest to make up for it's lack of resources.

We already talked about regionspecific resources. So let's go into more detail.

These regions would simply have a larger abundance of these ores under them.
Wind: Redstone
Earth: Iron/Lapis
Water: Diamonds
Fire: Gold/Emeralds

I figure Wind has a huge height advantage, and Ven would be in it, meaning redstone traps and devices. Earth has iron and lapis for the new enchanting system, and that evens them out with Water's diamond surplus. I would probably be leading the fire guild and I like gold armor and it's enchantability and emeralds buy a lot of things in 1.8. Coal can have large surpluses in the corner islands.

If anyone else wants to help with mapmaking, raise tool, flatten at certain elevations, smooth with a light mountain brush(I think most are by the bottom), all with the settings on 'except on water', or 'only on land'. Refrain from doing the natural wonders. Also, 3D viewer is helpful.

I assume the only way to locate minerals that aren't abundant in your territory is to either work real hard at finding them or trade with others?
