EDIT: I've decided to go on alone for a long while. I'll accept visitors once I make very large progress normally. (And I already regret having time-traveled. Because of it, I have ruined what could have been some memorable experiences. And since it became a habit, I've limited what to use it for--to reduce "unfair" results.)
EDIT2: Damn... it... I really regret time traveling now. My town history is screwed up & my town tree has grown up to an unfair state - possibly at an impossible age since the game's release, which are the only real reasons I regret my actions so far. I wasted a potentially heart-warming experience that could have been legit 500 hours and days later.
Neither do I get to experience the amazement of my town's "slow" growth up until the very moment that my town tree would reach its peak... and then what could have been an indescribable moment as I'd watch the credits and town history...
