mii stupid. I didn't see the "Hackmii Installer V8 was a link. *facekeyboard*

Okai, installed Homebrew(Will deleting the private folder from the StackSmash archive from the SD card keep homebrew but allow stagebuilding again?), and trying to install gecko OS, cheat manager and all that.

What folders/other stuff do you copy into the SD card from the three downloads (Code Downloader, Cheat Manager, Gecko OS)? After that, do the three become Channels (Like in youtube videos, Gecko OS is shown as a channel in the Wii menu?)

It has to be like this:
SD:/
- /apps/
- - /APPNAME/
- - - boot.dol
- - - meta.xml
- - - icon.png

Nope, just the HBC. Channels require massive haxTM.

Sweet, one of my freinds in tennessee owns a Wii with system menu 4.2 on it. Yay for homebrew! :3

But recently, the new version of dolphin Wii/GC emulator allows installation of the system menu. Is it possible for me to somehow get the system menu wad file from my freind's Wii? So far, downloading the file from a website is out of the question. My internet is too slow for downloading files more than 10Mb. :( My last three attempts at downloading the wad file were halted due to slow connection, and since the only actual wad file I found was on the pirate bay, I have to rely on seeders. :<

This is why DIAL-UP sucks. >.>

Dolphin's System Menu emulation does not support installing any channels, including HBC.

You could download the WAD using NUS Downloader. Your friend can dump the System Menu using BlueDump, but he needs a patched IOS.

Never mind, I just stumbled upon this topic in the dolphin forums. Apparently NAND dumping is the easiest way to get system menu to start up on dolphin. (It involves decrypting your NAND dump.)

Link to NAND dumping guide: http://forums.dolphin-emu.com/thread-162.html

(No installing wii channels? Aw shucks, well, I guess they might find a way to install them. Maybe not at the moment, but it's got to be possible.(Somehow.)) :o.o:
