I don't think the originals have aged that well, though I do think that they're still fun to play.

I still really like HeartGold/SoulSilver, but I feel like Black 2 and White 2 are also really good. I'm having a hard time deciding which is my favorite.

Emerald is great and all, but I think I like the feel of Johto a little more. That, and the fact that you get to go back through Kanto after beating the Elite Four.

I honestly don't like music previous of B/W. It all sounds terrible to me. Like a bunch of beeps made to make music. B/W and B/W2 was without a doubt my favourite because the storyline, the protagonists, the antagonists, the cities, and the gym leaders, were all pretty goddamn awesome. The gyms were really easy and not really puzzles which was really the only bad thing about them. The best part of the games had to be all the music though. The reason why I can't choose between B/W and B/W2 is simply because the games go hand in hand. B/W2 had so many great things in it like being able to use repels over and over quickly to every gym having it's own music. X/Y was really dissapointing in the music aspect.

Well I don't have any favorites because all of the Pokemon games are good. I did like 1-4 gen but that's because I haven't played the rest of them. I guess you could say my favorite game is Leafgreen just because that was my first Pokemon game EVER! I did not get my first shiny in there though(which is pretty dissapointing since I've had that game for 7 years and i STILL can't find one). I caught my first shiny in Sapphire(it was a shiny Tentacool), which was my second game(which is even MORE dissapointing). Then my brother ERASED MY GAME IN SAPPHIRE(the dissapointment goes on...). After that i started a new file and found a SHINY MAGIKARP at level 26. All I had to do was use a RareCandy and BAM instant S.Gyrados(I always put and S. before a shiny pokemons original name). then my bro ERASED IT AGAIN and decided to get and action replay to get all of my shinys I once had back.

Eh, even if you got it in the regular way, a shiny Gyarados isn't too impressive because everyone already has one.

Anyway, my favourite is SoulSilver. Just... everything about it.

SoulSilver is good, it ranks up there with Platinum in second place. But my favorite Pokemon game is definitely UltraViolet.

What is UltraViolet, you ask? Check my sig, there's a link to it. I count it as a Pokemon game, shut up. It's damn good for a romhack. Also it has nothing to do with the fact that I helped and am credited in the readme.
