I didn't think so. I got to the Yoshi sphinx thingy and got stuck, and eventually got tired of the whole collecting-stickers thing. Honestly, it was dumb. Interesting, but dumb.

Exactly. I mean, they can try new things... Just that they shouldn't change the main formula too much. SPM was a platformer and stuff but at least it still had RPG elements and a good story.
Really, the only hard part about SS was the final boss which actually felt like a boss.

The point is, if they're going to make a sequel to luigi's mansion... Then give us Luigi's Mansion. If not you'll be making something else that should have a different title. They can add more things, of course they can. But what i'm saying is to fix everything from the first game, then add new things and not take too huge risks. If they want to make something really really new, like the stickers, make a different spin off title.

Have you tried beating SS without the ultimate sticker things? Makes it waaay way harder.

On topic, what has this game done with the boss ghosts? Are they all unique like in the first game?
Also what about the normal ghosts, are they as good as the first games or are they just crappy wannabes.
I'm Pretty sure I should put something here...

That actually kinda interests me. Almost makes me want to go buy another copy of the game, since I traded mine in a while ago.

Is that even possible? It seemed to me like you couldn't get past Bowser Jr. without using the scissors that you get.

There are a couple of unique ghosts, but I probably wouldn't consider them boss ghosts. Probably mini-bosses. The actual bosses of the mansions are unique (at least, so far, I've only beaten the first mansion, which the boss of that is a gigantic spider).

About the normal ghosts, I'm not sure exactly what you mean by crappy wannabes.

I think he means if the ghosts are just ripping off the ghosts from the first game. Just being the exact same thing.
Oh and is there something similar in the game to the ''portrait ghosts''?
Anything like that?

Would that ruin the game if there were or not? If your not so sure about this game, then get a different one first that you are absolutely sure you want to buy.

Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgement that something else is more important than fear.

Well, they have more of a personality, I guess you could say. Like, there's lots of places where you can look through holes in the halls and see into rooms, and there might be ghosts in there doing something mischievous or playful. Of course, they attack you once you walk in, but it's a nice little touch. And they're not just carbon copies either, they are a bunch of different kinds. For example, there's some that have sunglasses that you have to suck off with your vacuum first before you can stun them. There's some that have a shovel they use to block your light and you have to wait for them to attack you before you can stun them.

So far, I like them. But there's also not just ghosts that hurt you; in the first mansion, sometimes a bunch of spiders will drop in from the ceiling or crawl out from the wall and attack you, and in the second mansion there are these freakin' huge venus flytrap looking plants that try to eat you. I haven't gotten past the second mansion yet, so I don't know what else there is, but so far, I'm not disappointed.

For everyone worried about how the new game is:

Guys. It's Luigi's Mansion. Nintendo is smart enough not to botch a sequel to an amazing game. And I've played about half of it now, and it's fantastic. It plays almost perfectly to the original. The ghosts are pretty unique, and multiplayer is a blast. So please, do yourself a favor and buy this game.
