That's literally the best thing ever said on the topic of this game, YB.

When I went to get the game, I went in a full Luigi outfit (It's not weird, the first Luigi's Mansion was my favorite game ever.) And the guys at Gamestop just looked at me and knew what I was here for.

Ok I beat the game yesterday and I loved almost every second of it (Except the glitchy as ♥♥♥♥ toad in the 4th mansion) and all I can say is that this game really rewards the curious, I believe I found almost every secret area which rewards money.

Also the multiplayer is great as well, I was playing it for 2 and a half hours yesterday, mostly in rush mode (We got to floor 15 and then my game crashed ._., damn scripting errors).
It's also quite good how some of the people have a sense of humor, me and one other guy did a 5f expert hunter mode with an afk guy, we got to floor 4 when the non afk guy died followed by me the next minute, the afk guy then died quickly afterwards, I then clicked the right D-pad button to make Luigi say 'Good Job' however I used it sarcastically.

read at risk, y overall opinion: show
Overall I'm debating whether this one is better than the first one, although it is better overall in my eyes, I feel that the first games sound effects and after game was a bit better.

Oh yeah also this games soundtrack is great, especially the 2nd and final mansions. The first and 3rd are very atmospheric however.
I'm Pretty sure I should put something here...

Also one thing I really really like about Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon, kinda related to the D-PAD speech in the Scarescraper. Luigi shows so much emotion in the game, I haven't really seen a game do this in such an intense manner. Luigi reacts differently to every single different situation with a different scream or dance.
Spoiler: show
(I'm not to sure if this counts as a spoiler, but I don't wanna get anyone's jimmies rustled.) Luigi has around 5 different ways to move. He can do a normal scared walking, a horrified run, a not so freaked walk, a braver running, and a waddle when he's holding stuff in the Polturegust.

And how there are so many ghosts that show their own emotion. In the first game, only really the portrait ghosts did that. But now a lot of the enemy ghosts do their own interesting funny things.

Nope, however a lot of the puzzles and bosses in this game are much better than the first.

Also I have just got to get 2 more missions to 3 stars then I've 100% single player.

Well if it will possibly get you to buy it I will say 2 things.

If you were a fan of the first you will definitely like this one, go back a few pages. You will see me being pessimistic about the game (it is now one of my favorite games on the 3ds).

Also scumbag IGN gave it a 9.3 so that's when you know it's good.
