Fire Emblem: Awakening

Postby Bomberman101 » June 15th, 2012, 11:12 am

Well, I just beat Fire Emblem The Sacred Stones yesterday. (It was epic! Especially the final boss, you just have to play it!) Anyways, as you can see I definitely enjoyed this game, and found out that Fire Emblem: Awakening is coming out for the 3DS in...

.... 2013. ( These dates are killing me.) In case you don't know what Fire Emblem is, it's a strategy game series in which you move your various units, or soldiers of magicians, fighters, etc, in a battle trying to achieve a goal like kill all the opposing enemies, or kill the boss, or even survive.

So, yeah, can't wait for Fire Emblem Awakening!

( I have this strange feeling of deja-vu... Has this topic already been created?)

Sacred Stones got me hooked into the series (the animations were especially epic on GBA), so I am really looking forward to this one. However, I can't seem to get used to some of the elements of Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn, and the animations didn't seem that appealing compared to the GBA games, so I hope it's not like that IMO.

Off-topic: Did you lose anyone in the run if Sacred Stones?

I tried not to lose anyone in sacred stones, but it was extremely hard th start a chapter over for someone, especially in the final boss. But yeah, for the GBA the battle animations were fantastic and I hope it's the same for the 3DS as well.

Insta-buy for me.

Like you guys, Sacred Stones got me really hooked to the series. That serie is known for his strategy and the epic storylines.

What, none of you played Fire Emblem 7? In my opinion, that was the best of the 3 GBA FE games. And yes, I played them all, loved them, go Lyn.

That's the only one I have because of Nintendo's 3DS Ambassador Program. I'm also used to the trinity of magic (light, dark, anima) in that game compared to the Anima magic triangle in some of the other games (wind, fire, electric). But thinking about it, it would be pretty cool if each trinity had it's own sub-triangle like Anima still being wind, fire, and electric, but also light and dark. Just and idea. :)

...all of the Fire Emblem GBA games use the trinity of magic you mentioned.

And you could always acquire the rest of the games through...devious and immoral ways.
