Pokémon News Thread

Postby GrandPiano » March 10th, 2013, 4:02 pm

This is a place where you can discuss the smaller bits of news that aren't big enough for their own topic. The big news will also get put here, though, even if it gets its own topic. Every time we have new news, I'll post it here, and you can discuss, or just come and see the news, then go somewhere else. Here's the latest news:

The only thing that's actually needed in this is the one about N and the pokemon gates to infinity code, everything else is less than important.

This is actually just a Runouw.com version of Bulbanews for those who don't check it, so don't expect everything to be interesting. I'm sure not many use the Dream World. I rarely use it myself.

You could always subscribe to Nintendo's Channel on Youtube. It helps when Pokemon events are released.

Hey, you're forgetting, this is also for discussing the news, not just receiving it. Speaking of which, I've got some interesting news coming up.

This Mewtwo will be level 100, hold a Custap Berry, and know Hurricane and Heal Pulse (I'm not sure if those are the only moves it will know or the only moves we know it will know).

The tickets can be preordered from April 20 to July 12, 2013; Mewtwo can be obtained from June 15 to September 1, 2013.

MAJOR ANIME NEWS!

Best Wishes Season 2 Decolora Adventures announced

New arc to start on April 25

(for those of you who don't know, the Japanese Black and White anime is called Best Wishes)

The new arc "Best Wishes Season 2: Decolora Adventures" would focus on Ash's adventure in the Decolora Islands.

Note that the next English season will probably not be called "Black and White Season 2: Decolora Adventures". Best Wishes Season 2 became Black and White: Rival Destinies and Best Wishes Season 2: Episode N became Black and White: Adventures in Unova. Also, the Decolora Islands will probably have a different name in English, and the next English season will probably start and end on different episodes than Best Wishes Season 2: Decolora Adventures.

During a Nintendo Direct segment last August, Nintendo announced "HarmoKnight", a rhythm platformer game directed by Game Freak's James Turner and the game was released in Japan as a digital only title on the Nintendo 3DS's eShop digital store the following month. A North American release was later confirmed during a subsequent Nintendo Direct segment, with a release date of March 28, 2013, with a demo being made available to download from the North American eShop yesterday.

Today, Nintendo went to Twitter to announce that the game will be released in Europe on the same day as America, March 28, with a demo being released next week.

Although the game isn't a Pokémon title, it does feature five stages inspired by and featuring music from, the Pokémon series.[/size]

Pikachu 3DS XL coming to North America on March 24

Release of limited edition 3DS XL console confirmed following Pokémon.com tease

(no summary available)

Earlier today, the official Pokémon Twitter account posted an image teasing at an announcement for Pikachu fans. Since then, images have surfaced online of the limited edition Pikachu themed Nintendo 3DS XL console in North American packaging, with multiple sources stating that it will be released on March 24, 2013. This follows from a brief appearance of the console in a recent advertisement for Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity, which is being released in North America on the same day.

The limited edition console was previously released in Japan last August as Pokémon Center store exclusive, where it quickly sold out. It was then released in Europe as a Limited Edition in December 2012.

Meloetta keyword for international Pokédex 3D Pro revealed

Meloetta is now available for international versions of Pokédex 3D Pro with the keyword TTQALFHN.

Meloetta is now available for international versions of Pokédex 3D Pro with the keyword TTQALFHN. Meloetta is the last Pokémon introduced in Generation V or earlier to be made available in the game. Unlocking Meloetta will also add its signature move Relic Song to the Move Dex.

This also marks the first official announcement of the keyword for unlocking Meloetta on international versions of Pokédex for iOS, which is TCPBSDCR. However, this keyword had already been revealed for the Japanese versions in November last year, and had been found to work on international versions as well.

To unlock Meloetta in Pokédex 3D Pro, the player must create a quiz using the keyword, with the keyword of TTQALFHN, and complete the quiz. To unlock it in Pokédex for iOS the player needs to enter the password into the search field.
