Well, I just beat every single level and the secret world, and

I'm doing a Hard Mode run now. You can play as any character, but there are no checkpoints and everything insta-kills you.

Already completed this game and am working on the extras. I really love the smooth level designs and how everything fits so well together as if it's meant to be one big speedrun. Only complaints I have about the game are the fact that Diddy isn't very useful now and there are only six or seven different bonus rooms overall, meaning they're constantly recycled.

All the more reason to hate Microsoft though. No more K. Rool? Siiiiiigghhh...

I believe Microsoft has no rights to the Kremlings, as seen in Mario Superstar Sluggers where even K. Rool himself is a playable character.

If that's the case, I think Retro just didn't like Kremlings all that much. The vikings are quite cool (puns...) though.
