Basically, no more playing mariokart, brawl (not that it was any good with all dat lag), or any other wii/ds games online.

Silent Conversations and a Crow's Final Song!
My latest story, and one of my personal favorites. A girl bound in silence finds the words to say to her prospective girlfriend as they visit her religious father in a dusty town on the edge of Kansas, where the crows' migration south brings forth anchored memories, the path to resolution, and a new start.

I remember that they said they were going to discontinue it a while ago, so I'm not all that surprised. They have to make room for the newer game servers somehow.

At least the Wii Shop Channel will continue. : D

To be honest, I really don't think the killing of the Wi-Fi feature is going to be a real issue overall. I bet the online features for most DS and Wii games are already quiet (I haven't checked the DS/Wii Wi-Fi servers out yet, but I think it's safe to assume that a large amount of gamers already prefer more recent platforms' online multiplayer over the older ones.). Besides, the 3DS/2DS (and I guess the Wii U, which I don't have) clearly is much better and more improved - I think I've made my point.
But yeah. There are some of those popular games that'll take a hit, but I don't think it'll hurt Nintendo too much.

Mario Kart Wii still seemed to be somewhat active, but not nearly as much as it had been a year or two ago. Too bad I never got to max VP in that.

I know a LP channel that pretty much revolves around MKWii Online Play and MKWii/CTGP in general. I wonder what happens with them.
