I can only upload one more real level before reaching the limit, and I have a measly 6 stars.
Honestly, I've tried my hardest, yet nobody can seem to finish my levels, not even Star king. (No offense, just saying.)


Can somebody please help me out? It's been over a week since my last star, and quite a handful of players already skipped my levels, I'm not joking.
You COULD just comment on my levels, but...








Do I really have to resort to Reddit? I just don't feel comfortable going over there.

Also JJJ, I have to admit your levels are pretty hard for me. The biggest problem I see in your levels is the they have a rather confusing layout. I mean, Mario levels are supposed to be somewhat straight forward but yours have a lot happening on the screen, various paths, so sometimes you just don't know where to go...And when you die a couple of times somewhere where you don't even know what to do, it gets quickly discouraging.

They are also seem to be pretty long but checkpoints will fix that.

I'm not saying your levels and your ideas are bad but to me they are too hard, too long and too confusing at times. Confusing puzzles are not bad, but when faced with imminent death if you don't do the right thing, and knowing there is a time limit, it's probably better to keep things simple.

Just my two cents.

Guess I'll have to find time to update my levels (some really long ones need those checkpoints)

I'm still 6 stars away from the second medal though. I hope the reupload will help this.

That's kinda what I feared. I don't really want to completely scratch my levels, but I have no idea how I'm supposed to make them less confusing AND more straightforward & simple.




By the way, my second level (It's High Heels or Nothing) got removed from the server.

Reuploaded a couple of my courses (including It's High Heels or Nothing) with some changes.

And when the update comes out next week, EVERY one of my levels will be reuploaded with Checkpoints. (Not gonna consider the new power-up mechanic 'til I can think of a good use for it.)



Also, I've decided to work on more SMM levels regardless of my upload limit, because now I'd love to actually get more courses ready for any potential limit lifting.

EDIT: Reuploading "It's High Heels or Nothing!" again, because losing a particular Stiletto could result in confusing backtracking.


EDIT2: Now I'm gonna reupload Cubical Works. When I made it "easier," I didn't thoroughly retest the P-Switch area. The Munchers guarding it (which I ADDED) ruin the puzzle element there.

Made another Wii U account, but this time it's for my family (and it may not be used much for that reason), and is mostly for Super Mario Maker.

Look out for "Yubetcha"!



In other news, I've reached 18 stars! At one point, three of them were all within 4 minutes. O.o

See? Things are looking up. Perhaps you're improving a lot :3
