From the gameplay demos, Link has a stamina gauge for things like climbing, which I assume can be augmented with things like grappling hooks, crampons, general improvements in stats, etc...

The trailer made it look like a more open world elder scrolls/fallout kinda game which would be super cool and super weird. Maybe they're putting more emphasis on exploring, not that it wasn't a thing before.

It just bothers me that link was climbing a nearly flat wall and climbing a tree with no branches in a way that would be super hard in real life, I mean does he have years of practice?

Here's some of the gameplay (from the Treehouse I think?) I was referencing if you're interested. I would say it reveals kind of a lot about the beginning of the game, but the game world and story looks like it's going to be pretty enormous, so it's probably hardly anything in terms of spoilers. But I'll put it in spoiler tags anyway.

I'm not sure whether or not I like the technology in this one, but the creators made it so that the technology blends in well. I know I don't like how your weapons can break, that sucks to me atleast
