Glaive Gameplay:

And the best feature IT HAS ONLINE PLAY! It already makes it better than MH3U on the 3DS. Not to mention that you can jump on Monster's back. I'm gonna pick it up for sure. Any thoughts on it?

@Down: Didn't know about that, thanks

For those interested, there is a demo out on the E-shop which has access to online multiplayer, and allows you to try any of the weapons in the game. The demo has 3 monsters to hunt and 2 difficulty levels, and you get 25 minutes for each.

Just played with my friend over online, so I can confirm that it works. There are also no friend codes needed, no need having people on the friends list or anything like that. You go in the online multiplayer option, create gathering hall, set a password if you want, and then you'll create a room. Then you'll need to give the id of the room (and a password if you've made one) to other people and you're set.

From my experiences, online is pretty good (considering I've played with someone across the sea xd), but the game seems like it drops frames more often than MH3U did. MH3U dropped frames only when 3D was on, or when there was a large monster on field (or multiple monsters). In this game it happens more frequently, though that might be just me. The areas of the game look absolutely gorgeous, with vibrant colours and areas of varying heights. Your character is also way more agile with his movement and attacks. There are new attacks that were introduced to keep the agility of your character going. Also the mounting thing is pretty simple, though actually mounting the freaking monster is pretty difficult. Also, no ♥♥♥♥ cha-chas anymore, now you'll get felynes who don't just buff you and act as a death foughter, but actually fight, set traps and stuff.

I'd say try the demo. I'd also be up for playing the demo on the weekends (and I'll have to organise time beforehand, so tell me a few days before).
