The ocarina and item slots are UI changes. Nothing that significant. Gyroscope I guess is a big change but I barely used it passed the beginning because there wasn't really a need for it.

I wouldn't really count a glitch as an improvement. But don't forget the easiness of switching boots around and inclusion of Master Quest.

This is all it would take. Majora's Mask is my all time favorite Zelda but if there's no gameplay difference I'll pass.

To be honest? Not interested. I never liked the original MM, and I hardly see what makes this any different.

The thing about MM is that half the game was just finding the damn temple. To even enter the "first" dungeon, you pretty much need to complete a prequel dungeon... getting the picture for the dude, chasing that monkey, riding the boat to the palace, actually navigating the palace, gaining access to the swamp temple. The game might only have four official "temples" but ignoring the preamble is like cutting out half the game.

Forgot about the boots, that was a huge thing. Master Quest was cool too, it just seemed a bit lazy at times.

I prefer to think of it as each area being more elaborate and thought-out, increasing the drama and suspense for each temple rather than just having a small area with a temple and a couple hidden things. For example, Lake Hylia is just basically the Water Temple area with a few small things (fishing and observatory), compared to Great Bay which is so much more in-depth with Zora Hall and Pirates' Fortress and all that jazz.

I just don't see a reason to buy this unless Nintendo announces some major change to the game. Majora's Mask is by far my favourite Zelda game, but I don't think paying for a new game would be worth it for nothing more than updated graphics and minor tweaks.

Much like Oot 3D it was so people who never played Oot (like me) could play it nowadays. Or for the veterans to finally sell their N64's :P
