Review that contains minor spoilers: show
So my thoughts of the game? It's good. I would have loved for more Paper Elements and a more in depth story, but personally those don't matter as much as the gameplay.

The gameplay is Mario and Luigi but with Paper Mario. That's about all there is to it. Bros attacks are exciting to pull off, especially Trio Shuriken and Drill Shell and I was glad to see that they did away with motion controls.

The Papercraft Battles were things I had mixed feelings about. They weren't really contributing to the story in any way, and could just as easily be replaced with using the Papercraft Battles the same way as a giant battle. They controlled almost Gamecube pikmin-esque, which isn't always a good thing. The papercrafts having different abilities for each different character was neat, but they kinda overstayed their welcome quickly.

The main things people don't like are the Paper Toad missions. I am fine with them, but doing the Hard Mode Missions are an absolute PAIN to do. As a completionist, I will attempt to 100% any game I play. The hard mode missions are a slap in the face to people like me, as half of these missions don't grant you but a shiny gold star next to the mission, and rarely a battle card, some useful, and some not.

Speaking of battle cards, I would definitely prefer badges over them, but they were a fresh idea. Like I said earlier, there are some better than others. There's literally one battle card that adds five minutes to a timer, which there rarely is one when battling, and one that lowers the levels of SPECIFICALLY piranha plants, which there are, what, 5 in the game?

The length of the game killed me. Without doing any hard mode missions, you can complete this game in about two days regularly, a few hours using the many game breaking glitches.

Speaking of glitches, this game is riddled with them, but I've only ran across one in regular play, which is using the Trio Meteor on the final three koopalings completely and utterly crashing the game. There are AN ABSOLUTE TON of glitches, but you probably won't get them in normal play unless actively looking for them.

Overall, it's a solid game, but there are many things that I would have changed to make it better.
Might be ready in a bit.
