Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D

Loving this game, I like how it's a tremendous challenge. And spot on graphics! Anyone else think so?

Yes. I like this game, but I prefer DKC for the SNES.

DKCR still stands out as one of the best platformers I have ever played for its being gorgeous, fun, amazing to listen to, creative and of a difficulty good enough to be non-trivial

out of interest why do you prefer DKC

I suppose that's as good a reason as any...although I have a personal preference for DKC2's game over. And levels. And characters. And soundtrack. And...pretty much everything.

Lmfao.

And yeah, DKCR 3D is a pretty amazing feat for the 3DS. Sure it runs at 30 FPS, but the visuals are still great and something had to be sacrificed in the port from Wii to a portable console. The platforming's tight and challenging so that's still intact, and it was super neat that they gave it an extra world and thus even more content than the console version. The soundtrack goes without saying.

One of the best games for 3DS, for people who didn't play the Wii version it's a must-have (like seriously why don't you have this game), and for people who did like me, it was still worth it just to replay.
Just remember this, when you see her on the street.

Actually for the longest time during my childhood I avoided most rare games because their game over screens were overdramatic and it scared me away as a kid .-.

This may be straying further from the topic, but I absolutely love dark and eerie stuff, even if only I think something in particular is.

I wanted to say that.

Yeah nowadays I'm not too scared by it, though if I did have criticism for Rareware it would still be the overly dramatic game over screens :P
