PM? Balanced? Balanced more than any other smash game? That's a good one.
Frankly I'm totally fine with PM ceasing development. Although I do play a lot of smash, I can't really care much for it.

Bruh. Why did you have to go and say that? PM players have feelings too.

Frankly a lot of PM players that I have met (not every, but a fair majority of them) tend to be incredibly stuck to PM to the point where they won't even accept any other arguments as to why PM is not the best smash game (let alone not even developed by the original producers of smash).
I will admit though, that first post was kinda harsh. However, it's fact that this was once called Project Melee for the reason of bringing back melee mechanics. Character balance was not their priority.

Can we please not bring this up again? It was just an opinion of brando's. Let's not take it so seriously.

Y'know all I wanted to do was express my opinion as to why I disagree with him. But I agree.

You're still wrong. I love PM and think it is the best Smash game. Nowhere did I say it is objectively the best one. Like whichever Smash game you ♥♥♥♥ wish. My only claim was that it is the most balanced one. Which it has been proven to be. You have yet to back up your counterargument with anything other than petty opinions.
And you're still derailing my thread. You need to learn when to stop posting.

Earlier before I posted on your thread I was dealing with a lot of people making a huge deal out of PM being ceased in development. And frankly, it really didn't sink well with me. I will admit, I really don't have many good experiences with PM players in general. But regardless, I reacted way too harshly on the thread. I dun goofed.
But I actually was about to make a proper argument until the posts got graveyarded, soo... but nah. I don't think that's going to help at this moment. Believe me, it's not that I refuse to acknowledge anything, it's just that I wasn't done talking. But at this rate I might as well quit.
Well if you're willing to accept an apology, I'm perfectly willing to give one.

Thank you. Even if I was just defending my favorite game mocking you was not the way to go and I should've done differently, so I'm sorry about that.
Just keep in mind PM players have it tough. Just like you can appreciate Kirby even though everyone considers him a low tier, PM players appreciate their game even though it's technically an unofficial mod, will never be endorsed by Nintendo, has had releases that have been far from perfect, and now ceased development before we could reach a gold standard. We just like playing our game, and if we get defensive it's cause it's all we got. We're never gonna make it big with Nintendo stamping us out.
We'll never reach the same stage Melee and Smash 4 can have.

Who knows? Maybe it will receive some more public exposure now that everyone's talking about it. At least Nintendo hasn't completely destroyed it. And who knows what the PM devs will work on next.
But yeah, sorry 'bout all that. I think I gained a lot more respect for PM than I had previously.

What is project M in the first place. Sorry but I've never heard of it.
