http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1190024We all of us know that Nintendo will broadcast tomorrow a new Pokémon Direct to celebrate 20 years of the franchise and to announce a new chapter probably. But none of us knows what the Japanese publisher will show in details. Looking at the trademarks registered in the European Market, we have found two new registrations requested by Nintendo itself just today. The requested trademarks are named “PoKéMoN SUN” and “PoKéMoN MOON” and both they report a logo. So, it is undeniable that Nintendo has intention to announce two new Pokémon versions. We don’t know for what platform, but it is very likely that the two title will be available for Nintendo 3DS. So prepare yourself for tomorrow!
A leak for the new games was just found. I assume the new pokemon direct is going to be talking about exactly this.

So basically, Pokemon Solrock and Lunatone versions...maybe there will be a Mega Lunatone and Mega Solrock...maybe...

putting money on the fact there'll be a special event Lunatone or Solrock, depending on which game you get

wow are they just mindlessly mass-producing Pokemon games now, Or what. Because the have release so many new games recently like omega ruby/ alpha sapphire and the have that Pokemon in real life thing coming too, don't they?

Omega/Alpha were remakes of possibly the Pokémon franchise's crowning achievements, and Go (is that the name, for the "Pokémon in real life" one?) is a mobile game something like geocaching, as opposed to a traditional game.
I am by no means a fan of the franchise, believing that it peaked in Gen4 with literal Pokémon Jesus and his underlings, masters of the entirety of space and time and antimatter or whatever the hell (those are some hella strong underlings am I right), but credit where credit is due.
EDIT: Oh neat, my phone automatically does the proper accent for Pokémon. Huh.

Also don't forget that this year is Pokemon's 20th Anniversary so this kind of thing is virtually expected.
Maybe my dreams of another real Battle Frontier will come true this year. Or at least some neat post game content. Either way I'll get it for sure because consumers gotta consume.
