from the trailer it almost looks like thousand year door and sticker star together, and I agree with the partners thing. I prefer partners of powerful stickers or whatever they have

It would be great to have partners back and for it to play like the first 2 games, but sadly, I doubt that'll happen. However, I feel like this game can be an overall better version of Sticker Star. When it comes to the battle system, there should be a basic attack that you can do if you're out of cards and/or paint. It also needs leveling up so that there's actually a reason to battle. Once you level up, you should be able to choose 1 of 3 things to upgrade. Your HP, the amount of paint you can hold, and the number of cards you can hold. We also need a MUCH more in-depth story and some new characters that are actually lovable. Also, don't make every single NPC a Toad. Give it some variety, and as for enemies, don't just give us the basic Mario enemies we've seen a million times. Throw in some new and original stuff. I'm not the type of person to judge a game by just a 1 minute trailer. I'm actually gonna give it a chance.

I'm not too fond of the direction they're going with this, I mean I never played Sticker Star but from what I've heard and from how similar this is to that I don't think I'd enjoy it. I used to play a lot of the original Paper Mario and its sequel and seeing as all the stuff I loved from those titles seems to be gone, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't enjoy it if it keeps going this way.

I know it's kind of early but, meh, I don't know... I'm not sure about this one.

Saw the segment of the Treehouse about Color Splash

...Pretty much lost the little interest I could have.

Same pointless battles based on one-use cards

Same boss battles with no foreshadowing of weakness and big anti-climax when said weakness are exploited

Call me when there is a GOOD Paper Mario

For some odd reason, I actually kinda like Sticker Star. It's most definitely not in my list of good games, but I've been enjoying it somehow.

Have not seen much on Color Splash, but I'd only consider getting it myself if it isn't really any worse than Sticker Star.

Don't mind me, I'm just a collector whom happens to play said collected games, which includes Bubsy 3D. :p

For someone who has never played either Sticker Star nor TTYD (Only Paper Mario game I played is Super Paper Mario), This game is not looking to be bad, really. Not only it looks just fantastically beautiful, but the gameplay doesn't seem to be bad at all.

I only watched the first ten minutes of that because I didn't want to spoil too much for myself, but it definitely looks good. Looking forward to getting it.

In all honesty, looking at this actual footage sells me more than the trailers did. It also might be sad that I'm about to the 4 hour mark of this video.
