If you think the triggers are too 'complex' for you, then try reading Suyo's 'Totally Teriffic Trigger Tutorial" in the Designer forum. It helped me a lot.

Yeah, but for some people even that is too complex to understand.

You'd be surprised to know that LL has some of the most basic triggers in any game. Most other editors will be by far much more complex. This is very user-friendly and basic.

I agree, I understand triggers completely, but some people don't

Yeah. The triggers are really easy once you understand what they mean and do. The thing I Have trouble with are the tricks ( Scaling items, Invisible blocks, Warps, ect )

Scaling Items: In the Move Item command Make sure the x and y are the same and its on relative. the number is the percent increase. 100 is normal, 50 is half size, and 200 is double size.

Invisible blocks: Not in triggers. Use the collor effect box (the blue box in items) and on the last page, set the alpha to 0.

Warps: Activate item. Linkage the same as a door. have the door off-screen or somewhere and have the door go to where you want.

So far I have completed Beta Level 1, and I have to say; this is looking pretty amazing so far! I've noticed a few problems though: there seems to be some slight lag, and you can only collect coins if you're right-side up. Aside from those problems, though, I love the engine of this game. The graphics are superb, the music is great, and the morph powers are extremely innovative. Even in its beta stage, the game is turning out to be superior to Super Mario 63 in every way. Well done, Runouw! :P

I'm about to go play Beta Level 2 now, and then I'll try out this seemingly incredible (at least, that's the impression I got based on what users in the chat had to say) level designer.
