On the Tiles, click Select.
Drag some tiles and click the Create Planet to the lowest right.

Not Exactly a Bug…

Corrupt is spelled with an 'o' not a 'u'

Sorry for being a spelling Nazi. :awe:

EDIT: Also, why not using spacebar as a modifier key for deleting in the LD?

EDIT 2: Are you planning to add in the right click > mute BG music in this game? I always liked that feature of SM63.

Im trying to make a castle level, and when I have done some basic ground, I add the castle background. When I do that, though, instead of staying the way I put it, the ground morphs with the background blocks. Is there anyway I can solve this, still being able to morph the blocks together, like you did?

Try using both layers. You seem to be using just the foreground layer.

More suggestions... Hehe...

A trigger that displays text on the screen, so that when you enter somewhere, you don't have to read a sign to figure out what's going on.

Also, a trigger that moves the player. I think this could help as use of a respawn point as well as many other things, for falling anyways.

And could you make a hotkey or some button that selects both layers and/or items to copy an entire section?

If you use "Activate" on a sign, then the message will automatically popup no matter where the sign is. Look at beta level 1 to see what I mean. You could even hide the sign off the edge of the level if you want.

And I also have plans to make doors work in the same way. Like if you have a trigger use the "Activate" function on it, it will teleport you to it's destination. (But right now "Activate" doesn't do anything to them)

Respawn points are coming soon, hopefully in the next update coming in a few days.

First off, I want to say that you two are to gaming what the Coen Brothers are to movies. That being said, it was a pleasant surprise to suddenly see this up on the news feed. I adore the gameplay and the new editor, and I especially love the ability to have custom view/camera areas. Really, really lovely stuff. I think I'll post some critique tomorrow.

You probably have noticed this already, but whatever. There are a few more character sprites you need. I'm not sure if the character is meant to be left handed or right handed as you use either scale or the same sprite the other way to switch directions. You need the mage guy holding the sword in same hand. And so from this, you'll need to have all the other sprites with the other hand.

Actually, the real bug is that clicking the left button for the music section in the dialogue box does not actually go left but automatically jumps to 4. So if you're on 3 and click the left arrow, you go to 4…same for the other numbers including 4, which is why nothing happens when you click left for the fourth music option.

EDIT: Here's a suggestion - Water might be a nice addition to the game/level designer. You'll probably need to make more sprites for swimming but if you're willing to put in that effort, I think it would be nice.
