Based on how the mage was flying in an old mock-up, I'd hope that you could unlock flight.

EDIT: Here's a suggestion - Water might be a nice addition to the game/level designer. You'll probably need to make more sprites for swimming but if you're willing to put in that effort, I think it would be nice.

 And here I was yelling at !?! for including lava in his suggestions…

…but here is a real (I think) suggestion. All right, so supposing you magically make a tile vanish and that tile had vegetation on it, say a tree. Now the tree is floating in mid-air. Is there some way you can make it so that when you make that brick disappear, either:

1) The item on top of it disappears as well.
2) The item falls to the next tile below (or off the screen depending).

I know that you can kind of do the latter using a trigger, but then you don't see it falling; you merely see it jump from one point to another. Anyway to alter that?

Well, like you suggested, you could make it disappear with a trigger, or you could, if you want, do a move item down one pixel, wait one frame, move it down another, wait one frame, and so on until it hits your destination. This would create the "Falling" effect, but it would take a bit of time.

OK, so I was trying your falling suggestion and came up with another.

Within the trigger menu, it would be nice if you could copy and paste individual events. So, for example, instead of having to constantly add the "move item" trigger and set it to move down 1 pixel, then having to constantly add the "wait" item and set it for one frame, it would be a lot easier if I could just copy the two and then paste them after each other for a little while.

Level Designer Bug

Postby Adiamo » January 3rd, 2011, 5:40 pm

Hi Runouw.

When I moved a door using a switch command in one of my levels, it did something strange. It went to where I wanted it to, but it would appear bigger or invisible. I hope you can fix that.

Just wondering.. but are you going to include this as one of your tunes? Or is it scrapped? I didn't hear it in the beta.

(because the change half way through the piece becomes awesome (well... more awesome than the rest))

In beta level 1 I fell under the floor and I moved around under the level.

Great game so far

I've noticed that when you go to edit what music is used, when you click the back arrow, it just goes straight to 4.

In the full version, will you be able to view what the item is when you select it and will the backgrounds be named too?

That's it.

Thanks again for the beta and Happy New Year ;)
