Yeah, I've seriously need to check the News more often.

Anyways, I actually do think I have what it takes to be a Mod, I'm prepared to start getting a spammed inbox, I'm prepared to have to approve like 10 levels a day, so on so forth.

But everyone, don't forget. Being a Mod requires responsibility, and I am ready for the task.

ProTip: We're not instantly going for the most acclaimed designer. Lemodding is not a popular contest. We're taking into account words, but also actions, of around the forum. I don't even think Killswitch signed up... all I'm saying is, don't always be behind the popular levelmaker- LD skill doesn't necessarily mean Lemod skill.

I think we're all capable of being level mods - because we all really care about the levels that go on the Level Portal. And plus three of the users liked the most have been LP Testers before and that's probably how they're known as upper-class designers. (by the way pretty much everyone who's applied so far and replied on this thread are good and capable of being level mods :awe: )

Btw I don't personally think my levels are as good as some by the users here and I know I'm up against some strong competition which means I'm gonna be truthful throughout from what I think, but my personality makes me a bit of a perfectionist, which means I really care about the levels that go on the Level Portal (therefore everything can be played perfect, really lol) and I really hate seeing downrated levels which are actually brilliant levels, and I hate seeing levels that are pointless and haven't had any thought or care into them whatsoever. And plus I'm very familiar with the level rules as I read all the forum rules before I signed up on Runouw. I think the ones who are most likely to get a level mod position are ones who really help others with their levels and contribute a lot in LDCs and are kind and honest in reviews, so kind in a way that they're not saying "oh your level's completely rubbish you shouldn't even bother" but honest so they're giving improvements and bad points when it's needed. (and equally giving enough good points)

Just thought I'd say.

Wow MP3. I am extremely grateful that you stood up for me and Bread. I really agree with everything you said and... I'm almost speechless right now because I'm, as I already stated, extremely grateful for what you have done.

That being said, I think the opportunity would help us all... in fact, why would we only need one or two Lemons? Shouldn't we have a whole bunch? Think of it - everyone, users on Newgrounds, Sheezyart, and EVERYONE that creates SM63 and LL levels... that's at LEAST 100 people... moderated by only 7 or 8 people? That's extremely unrealistic. They move to the forums. We'd need more Moderators and Admins to control flame and such about people that just switched from easy-spamming LDP to a well-maintained LDP. In fact, I just realize this, this new LDP can affect the entire forums widespread.

I really didn't read through the entire discussion of the new LDP thread, so I'm not sure if this has been brought up already, but I just wanted to voice my opinion.

Just....wow. That's deep, MP3. That's deep. :)
Also, SuperMic, I agree with you. Lazy writer is lazy :awe:

You're making things sound a lot more difficult than they really are. Trust me, if the time ever comes that between the approval/disapproval stage, the Report buttons, and 10 staff members (the 6 Lemods + the 2 Mods + the 2 GloMos), we're still struggling to keep things under control, we'll make considerations. Ten staff against 100 level makers? It sounds unrealistic, but it's not like they're submitting their levels all at once.

Guys, whatever happens, remember that this a privelage, not a gift; we're not just giving it to anyone. Yeah, I know we've asked you guys to apply, but this was primarily to help us get a solid idea as to who's interested in the position, not to see who can convince us the best. With that said, don't get offended if we don't choose you; aside from the ability to ask for the position, this is just like any other promotion.

- visiting the forums almost daily - Yes.
- being remotely active - Remotely? I'm a Veteran. Of course I'm active.
- friendly - Yes. Maybe. I dunno. Probably.
- experience with level making - ...I made three...? (almost certainly no)
- knowledge of level rules - Yes. Most cer-tain-ly.
- the will to look into every level needing to be approved - Yes. Sometimes I get the feeling there's just not enough to do on Runouw.
- ability to deal with level reports - Yes.

I think I fail. :awe:

MK, just to tell you, you have 100 posts in a year, I wouldn't call that 100% active... But hey, look at Doram, 80 posts, and a User Rep, you still have a chance.

Active isn't just posting, you know. Just posting doesn't make you active. There is also chatting and in general, logging in just to check the forums.

I think I can be a level mod. I know the level rules very well. I know what levels are good or bad. I am very friendly, and even though I'm only a active member.(I go on every single day).
