Okay. I'm confused. Why the hell is XNR3 attacking us?! What did we do to them?

I'd like to thank everyone that mentioned me and anyone else involved with XNR3 here and showed some sympathy. Because, it's not fair what they say about Runouw, they judge our site about a couple of members here that got involved and didn't even cause any serious problems.
I can't thank you enough MoD for making this topic, and for the record, I have banned myself..

Though where was I being disrespected? Here or there? I know Doctroid was being a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to me on XNR3 but even KY & Dest were being civil to me. They've always said my site was crap because I had crap moderators, but since when did they know anything about moderating anyway? They only abuse powers on their site..
This will, hopefully, be my last word about XNR3, they don't deserve my time and patience.

Well, part of the point of this thread is that it doesn't matter what did happen or now is happening. The final result is that nothing we do now can fix the situation, and we have to let the whole matter go, if we want to be able to move forward. They have acted unreasonably, and they have rejected our side of the argument, both calmly stated and screamed in rage. They clearly do not want to resolve anything. They just want to rage at us. If and when they decide to calm down enough to have a rational and reasonable conversation capable of resolving the situation, they will have to come to us. But until that point, for our own sanity, we need to walk away. Doing anything else is just making the situation worse.

Karyete wrote:Err, you do realise that XNR3ians treat me as a great, trustworthy friend?
My response:
They like me as if I was a true XNR3ian. I'm not. Ever. The only one who doesn't like me is Qualon (remember that buttmunch, right?). He hates me and flames me any way possible. But, yes, MoD, I'm gonna use you're idea and follow it!

It's good you haven't been devoured in their brainwashing.
Now I went there to look up the on goings between here and there and let me just say... Some of them are acting a bit out of hand, some of them not so much.
Also Karyete, the irony is killing me right now as the first topic I saw there was defiling you and few other including MP3.
Furthermore I also believe that there grief will ware off in time, as if they have a community full of people that want to disrespect another community then that shows that their community won't make it very far. Now I know I can't judge, I didn't know jack ♥♥♥♥ about any of the members on their forum, but from what I hear it sounds like just another Anti-MoY clone site, it will pass over in time especially if we ignore their existence.

Because a few of our members were involved in a forum war then loads of other members on here went in to stick up for us, and then MoD was flamed by KY, Qualon and Dest. That is just saying the least though.. :3

What happened is both complicated and simple at the same time. At its simplest, this is something that may or may not have been a joke, which has been blown completely out of proportion, igniting the kind of blind hatred that can consume large numbers of people for generations. A "forum war" which at its heart is nothing more than "our forum is better than yours" has de-evolved into personal attacks and escalated injuries to the point that there is a group of people that actually wish us harm. Imagine the Israelis and the Palestinians writ small. Enough people got mad enough to "get even" with actions stronger than the original offense, increasing the general ill will at each reverberation, involving more and more people with bigger and bigger hurts, until lots of people were really mad, and lost track of why this all started, and were caught up in a maddening cycle of revenge.
At its most complicated, it shows the ultimate weakness of competition as a way of life, where its tendency to play upon the weakest parts of the human spirit - jealousy, pain, and revenge - cause it all too often to spiral out of the control and the scope of the intents of any of the original participants. Humanity must realize at some point, and I dream and hope it to be soon, that cooperation and compassion must be at the base of every single one of your actions, if you ever hope to build anything that will last, much less be deemed valuable, in the most fundamental sense. Western civilization has a long way to come in that respect, and while we have made small progress in the correct direction, those same weaknesses have generally gotten the better of us in the majority of situations.
I said that I am proud of the response that is being generated now, and let me explain why. The desire to end this on our end has actually led us to the correct conclusion that violence and revenge bring nothing more than violence and revenge, and that the only way to break the cycle is to let go of the pain, and refuse to respond to a wrong with another wrong. That the only way to end the fighting on both sides is to stop the fighting on our side, and let time do its job of healing all wounds. Hatred and violence are like a fire, and attention and blind reaction is its fuel. Starve it of that, and the flame will go out. We have decided to stop feeding the fire, and I am grateful to, and proud of, every participant here that decides to do so. You are all giving peace a chance in the only real way to do so - in your own hearts.

Wow. Just. ♥♥♥♥. Wow.
I know I haven't been around in the past couple of days, but how much has happened in less than a week? How many more flamevwars are we going to start? Do we really know what we're doing?

This hasn't happened all in a week, this has been taking place over the last 6 months, from September onwards if I remember correctly. (may even be before) It's just taken a while for everyone to realise how serious the problems are, after all, when a lot of the members here were spamming their forums like mad it was all seen as a joke and a bit of fun. I was pretty naive in this situation too.
But yeah, I think that should cover about everything, what I've said and what others have said too. So we might as well leave this topic untouched now.. :3

That's why ignorance isnt wholly bad. I have heard of these events and I have ignored them. The result? Never though of those events in my head since 5 months.
However, ignoring in that way can be difficult, especially if it touches you or your close friends. *people gets less closer than me* Not that definition of close.
Anyway, hoping that the dust will fall back and that we don't heard about it again.
