Hey, there should probably be some kind of chat moderator and/or chat rules.

considering there are normal forum rules for proper etiquitte, I figure the same should be done to the chat.

I bring up this concern considering that not only every user sees it at the top of the page, but I just saw somebody drop the F bomb.

Which may not be quite so good for some of the younger users of this site.
(cus I'm fairly certain we have at least one six year old somewhere.)

Actually, it might be better to find a way to enable censoring on the chat. Maybe connect it to the UCP option if possible. This forum is probably mostly teens/preteens by now.

Yeah, I know what you mean, I don't really think the younger peoples care about the forums, but you see the chat for a few seconds when you log in.

That's only people with more than 10 posts, though. I'm not sure if it glitches, but I assume not.

Is it possible to give a list of / commands (such as /me or /list) in the chat like you did with BBCode?

Uh oh.

Seems like PubNub, the service the chat uses, has changed their pricing. It was free before, for all time... but now, the free service is limited to 1 million messages, which is projected to be hit tomorrow.
So the chat will most likely go down tomorrow, but if anyone has a (free) PubNub account we can move to, PM me the Public and Subscribe keys and maybe we can keep it going for a while. I'm going to contact Runouw (maybe we can bring back the old chat, now that we are on a new server) about a solution, too.

Well the last server "move" we did wasn't to an upgraded server really. It's just my webhost doing their routine maintenance stuff.
