I'm gonna have much fun with those circle outlines..

... The problem mentioned by MiCrophone and Mega happened to me as well. For me it seemed like the darkness/snow combination caused those issues somehow.

No, that was the first thing that I looked at. I wouldn't exactly call it tiny either.

Edit: I've beaten the entire chapter will all the Super Squares now. On the over-world it says 18/18, but the save file still says 18/40.

It might be the super squares of future chapters.

Even then, that would be inconsistent with the fact that every stage has 3 Super Squares. I'm just going to assume that the number is a placeholder of some kind.

I haven't had any lag issues, and I have a really good gaming computer. I guess that means Runouw needs to tone it down a bit and make the game a little more accessible?

I mean, I don't game very much but my computer is pretty good and I've never had lag issues with the main storyline of SM63. I have no doubt that nonetheless my computer is responsible for the lag; however, I think there is something in the game that makes the lag even more of a problem. When I do have lag with SM63 (bad level designer levels and the like), the character never freezes up; things just move really slowly but at least the character moves and I'm in control of his actions. Here, the character actually freezes up, and then all of the commands I tried to do happen all at once a few seconds later. But it's really only the character that freezes up; the rest of the game is fine which means that if I'm carefully timing a jump or something, this lag causes me to die basically every time due to the belated application of my commands. So I think the way the game deals with lag differs, if that makes sense, though my computer itself may be responsible for the lag.

Anyway, the lag issue and the level five darkness glitch issue aside, I'm very impressed. I do hope Chapter 2 isn't intended to be harder than Chapter 1 though, otherwise I'd probably quit now while I'm ahead. Dear lord some parts of Levels 5 & 6 (the latter of which I sadly did not finish; got pretty far in but it's simply too late for me to keep fighting the lag and I'm not going to want to/won't have time to replay all of what I did tomorrow) were tough.

It's the opposite for me, even with my brand spanking new gaming computer I lag like ♥♥♥♥ when I play SM63, but in LL I run it just fine, these levels are no exception.

The only time SM63 lags for me is when a stage is pushing the limits of the Flash player itself, and so far I have yet to encounter that in LL, including these levels. I guess it's because there doesn't seem to be as much enemy spam submitted to the LL portal as there is in the SM63 portal.

level 1 bug: after you kill the knight, if you hit backspace, respawn and try to fight the knight again, the platform won't show up, so you'll have to start the level up again
If it makes sense then it must make $ :awe:

I'm also getting incredible lag in that second cave section, which is weird because my laptop is really new and really quick. :/
