In-game the update is listed as "13.8.19"
At least it's nice to have the music back. I assume the reason the victory song doesn't play after beating a level using the "Play Level" function is because the victory song is supposed to play during a result screen, which LD levels lack.

is the platform bug on level 1 fixed where if you hit backspace after you fought the knight and try fighting him again, the platform won't appear a second time

It can't be fixed if no one gave notice of that bug.

the version number reported in-game is correct. 13 = year, 8 = month, 19 = day

I ran into a bug in the fifth level right before the end of the first cave.
I've tested it out multiple times, each time resulting in the same slowdown and some form of a graphical error, and it seems that the only way to fix it is by respawning.
Another minor thing I found out was that in the fifth level, entering the first cave then returning to Lumisade does not revert the music back from Icy Cave to Dark March, and instead, Icy Cave continues to play.
