Lots of people are having lag issues and trouble beating levels 4 and 5 (and if they got to level 6 they would find it has even more lag issues). So this update corrects a few things like setting low quality to default and removing some artificial difficulty in the later levels.

I updated the swf in place so you shouldn't lose your save files. But If the game does not have the version number "13.8.19" on the title screen you are playing the old version which means you might have to clear your browser's cache.

Is the change in the darkness effect in this update?

It really dissapoints me as it is, I prefer how it was before. BY said on the chat it looked cheap and uneffective, and I agree.


EDIT: Nevermind, it looks fine for me now.

Is it just that section specifically? Because when I left that section with the cheap-looking lighting it went back to normal.

I think it's the percentage of darkness he chose.

If you want less cheap looking darkness you have to set the quality to medium or higher.

Great, this update fixes all my lag issues.

I thought about writing a few constructive reviews for the levels Runouw made. But I dunno if I'd be helpful, nor if it's appreciated if I do so.

On another side. Are there any plans when water gets added? I've a project going on with a few other level designers and since it's pretty much beach themed, water would be a blessing as you can probably imagine.

Constructive feedback on the levels will be appreciated. Also I should be posting the level codes soon.

As for water, I plan for a series of LD updates to come soon. Then a chapter 2 with significantly more levels than 6.
