The game looks pretty cool. Having barely gotten anywhere past the beginning of the first level where you fall down to the starting point, the only thing I'd like to suggest is that you make the arrow keys available for moving, as I'm not very used to the whole WASD thing when it comes to moving a game character.
EDIT: Actually, never mind. WASD works well as long as I'm using the right hand for the mouse.

Lawl, that's actually how most PC games are played :p
WASD is basic movement, mouse to look/attack/use, spacebar to jump, and usually Shift or Ctrl to dash or crouch. Some games might also use the numbers, or local letter keys like Q, E, R, F, and X.
I actually love the WASD layout, but it definitely takes some time to get used to after SM63.
Edit, I think it's possible (or will be possible) to configure controls somewhat. I haven't really looked for that feature, but I'm pretty sure there's a way to.

It's possible to configure the controls to use a controller with something like JoyToKey or GlovePIE, but considering the mouse is used for Delta now it might be a bit weird to configure a controller.

A change:
- Custom control mappings can finally be set!
Go to Options, then go to Controls.

I beat the normal levels, and the boss felt really underwhelming after the greatest foes in this game: the lava puzzles. Still, I really love this game.
Rating: WOO / 100
EDIT: Played a bit of hardmode. I love how you can get the Winged Boots in the hardmode at the last level because I always felt like a secret should've been there when I was first there. However, I'm disappointed that the arena's hardmode still only gives you a Book of Battle.

Personally, I enjoyed the challenge of the game. At most levels it seemed a bit to easy, but the final battle was epic. I enjoyed the sequel better than the first especially because of the amount of weapons you can collect, and the upgrades. I haven't tried hardmode yet, but I'm sure it will be awesome. Although, you might want to make the levels a bit harder. I felt the game was rushed despite the fact the amount of levels.
This game was epic! Hope the third installment will be even better!

Absolutely LOVING the game, along with everybody else. Two things though,
A) I have an XBox360 Controller that I am using on my Laptop, and I am able to map everything to it just fine, including one of the joysticks for mouse control, so that's an option for people. Not quite as responsive as keyboard and mouse, but definitely playable.
B) I've noticed that the Chapter 2 level editor will open Chapter 1 files (Yay!), but Chapter 1 will not open the Chapter 2 files. This is to be expected to an extent, but there is no warning message or anything telling you that you are trying to open a Ch. 2 file in Ch. 1. It just sits there like you haven't just told it to open a file, showing you whatever you were working on last. If you could at least put a warning into Chapter 1 saying that it cannot read newer versions, I'm sure that would avoid confusion for some people. Also, is there an easy way (or any way at all) to see what version a file was created on? (If you haven't made any way, might I suggest putting a character or two in the level code, perhaps at the very end or the very beginning, specifying the version. You could even allow for the flag to be absent, and assume it is a Chapter 1 file...)

Is there any special trick to that? I attempted it with an XBOX controller but nothing would map.
