Will this be the final update?

It's good, though I'm hoping I could change the attack controls too.

Hm. It appears that there's a bug if you're collecting an item while being in delta mode.
I do love the green mage's magic attacks. Same goes for the level design. It's pretty decent now.

The Newgrounds medals don't seem to work properly. After beating the first 3 levels on the downloadable version, I got medals for beating every level on Hard Mode and beating the boss, neither of which I actually did.

I've experienced quite a bit of lag throughout some of the levels and I'm not really sure why, it didn't happen in the previous version.

But still, it's really great fun. I had the same thing happen as Kab as well, getting those two medals when I hadn't earned them.
I loved the desert level btw, and I really enjoyed the lightbulb effect.

Yeah, the two new levels are great. The added Super Squares and new secret shops ought to add to the replay value. The Thorn Staff is my new favorite weapon, and the Running Shoes are pretty neat too. And since we can choose the starting inventory in the LD now, I might start designing more again. Overall, it's an awesome update!

Were you playing the browser or the exe version of the game? And which levels were they?

So far, I've experienced spots of it in pretty much every level, and it would happen when a mage is firing something at you or you travelling through a section with a lot of gameplay or enemies, so it makes sense as to why there's lag there if it's too crowded with items- but it didn't happen in the last version which is weird. Also I was playing on the .exe version, and I've tried playing the levels at both 30 and 60fps.

Pretty awesome update. I loved the new levels you added in the story mode, and the fact the player can now change the equipable items in the level designer.

However, I can still notice some flaws the previous versions of null space also had:

  • If the player change the controls, and close the window or restart the game, the controls will be set to the default again.
  • The player still can't change the enemies HP in the level designer.
  • In the level designer, the water's length and heigth are not changeable.
  • Still in the level designer, the player can't select musics that are not used in Null Space.

But yeah, other than that, really good update!
