This actually really makes me sad guys
Like I'm not saying you shouldn't have done it, clearly you should have, but I just am like how do I imagine Runouw.com without Suyo? I mean I know we will so don't get defensive I know, but the guy was just such an integral part of how everything on this site worked. We've lost old members before but never like this.

It really did take time for me to come to terms with the news actually. Just such a shock. But we didn't have much choice anyway, he chose to retire and chose not to come back to the site. It was only a matter of time before we had to remove his global mod status.

I can imagine Runouw.com without Suyo tbh. It's definitely a loss, but we can still make this work without him.

You cannot avoid it, it's a shock at first, but it is somehow predictible. We all have to move on at a point, even if we like it or not. Tbh, my first shock was when Blablob got demoted, hit burnt my eyes to see him Yellow and not Green. After that I just aknoweledged the situation and moved on. Your department didn't shock me that much as I was prepared (still, I think you had the shortest career as a glomo, but if your life calls it, I understand) and neither did this time on Suyo. Yes, probably runouw is a "Relief" for us all, but at some point, life takes the charge and you need to care about it. I also expect new members, new mods and probably...a new community. Here we just come and leave, so yeah, things move on.

To echo MoD, I always did imagine the old bloke would be with this site forever. He was one of the first and greatest members on this site, who left a deep legacy here on Runouw, and he will be sorely missed. If you see this, best of luck with everything Suyo, and take care.
(And sorry for the belated reaction; past few weeks have been super busy so I haven't been able to hide in the shadows and spy on things as per usual.)
