Power Level-- ...?
Some of you may have noticed some rumblings of something big happening amongst the staff, but today we are here to tell you that it is a positive thing.
Suyo, the most knowledgeable global moderator, has decided that his life away from Runouw needs his attention right now, and he is stepping down as Global Moderator. He had already been too busy to do a lot around here for a while (practically two years in fact), so this is not a total surprise. Our other two Global Moderators, ~MP3 Amplifier~ and Buff_, are here to stay.
That said, somewhat regrettably, we lack the coding knowledge that Suyo brought with him, so we won't be able to quickly go over changes like a new forum design, new features (Suyo was the one that added medals, subforum headers, and all of the spambot checks we have), etc. While some of us are trying to learn some programming, and some of us have dabbled in it already, it is not sufficient enough to bring out new changes that could possibly make the site more presentable and more interesting.
While we've basically gone two years without him, the announcement was an eye opener, so we are currently discussing changes in staff. Hopefully, we will get back to you on that in a reasonable amount of time. Expect lots of promotions, and a lot more interaction.
