He may have done so. But despite wiki I did never see anything like that. wiki mods were no global mods either. And text and speeches alone doesn't justify the position for me, yet. I'll wait for actions in the near future and rethink my current position. Until then, I'll stay with my current opinion. I personally dare to say that it would have been a smarter step to go for moderator, do it for gosh knows 2 months or maybe 3. And both the users and himself could see if the position really suits. But by taking two steps at once you disregarded everything like this for a quick solution.
I'm not intending to attack, but merely voice criticism here. Just to make this clear to everyone.
Well, fair enough, I see your point. But Doram has influenced the site a lot more than most people think, so I believe the decision to make him a Glomod is a good one.
