How do you know if there are bosses or not if the game hasn't even been released yet?
Obviously bosses are big parts to a game so Runouw might not want to spoil that for us.

Graphics don't even matter. They're good, they good the job done, that's all that matters. There's no need for comparing it to Super Mario 63.

And don't even get started on gameplay. As I said, it's not out yet, so you have no idea what it'll be like.

Blab covered most of the points, but to further elaborate on the graphics, yeah, they may not look quite as good as SM63…you should also remember, however, that Runouw used already existing sprites for much of SM63, whereas (correct me if I'm wrong here guys) essentially everything in this game is being designed from scratch, and yet they still look quite good and shouldn't detract from the game's enjoyability. Furthermore, doesn't the Level Designer look incredibly BA?

I spotted two things on the HUD:

HP meter
and MP meter

That makes me happen.

Flash =/= whatever they used for making FF7

Runouw =/= whoever made FF7


Therefore, why compare a person making games for the enjoyment of people and for the fun of it, against a company who's making games for money (but still for people to enjoy)?

most game developers are either in it for the fun, to make a name for themselves OR in it for the money, thinking that their fanbase will buy anything. because they will.

And the best games are made by people who are making them for the fun of it, which is what Runouw is doing. These are free games. He's not trying to make money off of it, and even if he did, he's entitled to it for all the work he's put in. End of discussion. The videos have all had explanations that they are real early examples without final gameplay or graphics. The game might still be a year out for all we know. People need to chill with the comparisons. I know we are all excited about Last Legacy, but this doesn't need to turn into a Runouw bashing session on quality or time left to release. He's working on it as fast as he can while still living his life. Be glad, and we will all bask in LL's glory soon enough.

Well, it's that close to New Years, and the last update preview was in July. When's the next one coming out? Unless the actual game is gonna come out soon in like 2 weeks a month or two, I'd like to see the newest version of LL.
