There's already a Story Forum though, so you are able to post stories.

And I don't think there's a problem with keeping this in News...since, well, it IS news.

Instead of posting single stories, is it possible to create Story Series?

I think that means something like:

SERIES 1
          BOOK 1
               Chapter 1
               Chapter 2
               Chapter 3
          BOOK 2
               Chapter 1
               Chapter 2
               Chapter 3
SERIES 2
           BOOK 1
               Chapter 1
               Chapter 2
               And so on...

Actually, in this case, I'm pretty sure the series is the book....in other words, you'd have a seperate topic for the story, but it would be the the next installment of a particular series.
