Besides, I think this lacks effort. You don't put a bunch of Bullet Bills all crowded up in one area. That'll cause some lag. It lagged when the B-ills popped out.

Since nobody's actually left a review or anything... Have one free. :D

First off, the level wasn't really that hard. Mind you, I died. Several times. Mostly because my computer had a heart attack when OMGWTFBBQ 170 bullets pop out. Bullets can make a level hard, but it's a common mistake to confuse hard with unplayable. A good level should be a challenge, but also fun and unique. It shouldn't spam enemies or bullets (except in very rare cases), but utilizes puzzles and platforming interspersed with enemies. This level, however... is not one of them.

For one thing... It's too short. If you look under File in the top left of your Level Designer menu, there should be a Course Info option. Click that, and in the bottom left of the window that pops up, you can click the + or - along any border of the black square to increase the map size of your level. It's a little confusing to get the level to extend in the direction you want, just experiment a little and you'll figure it out.

Second, cutoff. The stairs at the beginning are not only floating without any visible means of support, but the gaps between each stair tile cause Mario to walk all glitchy over them. It's easily fixed, just add some blue tiles underneath to fill in the gaps. It'll make the level much more attractive to look at, and also allow a smoother gameplay experience.

Third, awkward item placement. I don't know how experienced you are with the Level Designer, but you can hold your keyboard's Ctrl key to accurately place any item to the grid. It makes placing items and coins much easier, like the wooden bridge bit. The bully kept falling through and off the map, and it's a real pain to navigate random falling logs. Also, much of the level could be bypassed simply by jumping. By extending the height of the map a little bit, you could space out the platforms a bit more and force the player to take the long way.

That's pretty much it. I found it helped to play some other users' levels, see how they use different elements. Occasionally you can pick up a nifty glitch or block formation to use in your level, and there's some pretty great designers here. So... I hope I didn't offend you with any of that. It takes a while to get into the Level Designing groove, just fix this up a bit and you might have a real winner. Also, if you ever need to know how to work with some of the trickier aspects (like block movements and such) feel free to ask. Just about anyone you ask would be willing to help. :P

That being said, cheers! I hope you fix this course up a little, and above all, keep making levels. Doing is the only way to learn. ;)
