Fiery Fears.
A small cavern has a Sprite in it...with a Thwomp stuck before it! Find the button that frees the Thwomp (by trapping it in a landslide :L) and allows you to catch the Sprite. You need to get 5 Silver Stars first to repair the Sprite!

Fun-wise, it is a bit on the easy side, but the basic structure and use of flames / thwomps make it a bit more perilous, and the overall structure is a functional one. The ending is a nice twist as well, although the fact that you merely trick the player into visiting a second shine is both obvious and a bit disappointing. I thought something would have been done to move the thwomp forcefully.

Graphically, the continuously diagonal styles remind me of a certain SMW level, which holds a bit of nostalgia value. I don't know if that was intended or not.
Beyond that, though, the fact that it is so geometrical is a downside, as it feels far more like an artificial maze than a true cavern. The terrain needs to be far more chaotic, with less near-perfect shapes and overly straight edges, for it to be believable.
It shouldn't be so open either. You said it is a small cavern, yet it is open enough that it feels like a vast chasm. It contributes to the artificial maze feel once again, which is a negative.
The clear cutoff at the 'second' ending is most noticeable, though, especially if you zoom out. It would amend the above issue regarding being obvious if it was a true duplicate of the start instead of being a crude, half-hearted copy.

I'd try to avoid tight corners if possible, as the engine makes it all too easy for Mario to get crushed in one very unnecessarily (sometimes to the point where it is impossible to escape).
It would help to run your signs' text and such through a spellchecker as well, to avoid unnecessary errors.
