That was a pretty good level. I especially loved the design of interior parts of the level. Also, it really wasn't that short.

Some notes though... you spelled "deserved" wrong in the last sign. :P

Besides that, those small clouds were so well placed it even made me die a few times. And this is coming from someone decent at platforming games. I'd suggest you either make a few of them bigger, or give a checkpoint system (like before the slingstar that sends you down, you could put a checkpoint there or something). I'm not even kidding, I actually had to move my start position because I died quite a few times.

Other than that, it was cleverly put together. 4/5, definitely. ;)

Fun 6.5/10

It was a funny level with nice gameplay. But the level lagged on my computer. Especially in the beginning and near the star, because the shiny tiles make the level really slow for my computer. I think it could help when you use Level Transitions.
Is the level really finished? When I take a look into the designer, I can see that the level should be 30x380, but you have only used the half place. At least it was 30x200. The Level was at last quite short ( I know it you write it in the description, but I think you can make it more big.

Graphic 4/5

Such a nice graphic is really rare. But the way from the jungle to the stone part looks a bit strange and there was one mushroom, (After the slingstar by the stone part) which was not exactly placed.

Others 3.5/5

Nice use of coins +0.50
No item overuse +0.50

The shiny part near the end +0.50
Lag but no loading time in the beginning or with level transitionen +/- 0
Level was really short and it were not used the complete place -0.5

All 14/20 (3.5/5 = 4/5 There are no half stars :mrgreen: )

You must improve yourself on some things, but I think when you fix some things the Level can become great.
I know it was judged a bit harsh, but 14 points are actually good for my system.
And it was not really a hard level. I'm a bad player and died not.

Review. (Duh)
New sistem!

Fun: 7/10
The level offered healthy and well implemented plattaforming, but I admit it was a bit too dull at times. There were a bit too many cloud jumps rather than any other kind of jumping challange, which isn't good, since it's quite basic. As BY marked, the level did lagged a bit, and I find strange the lack of level T during the level. However, enemies were placed perfectly and mostly it was an enjoyable level.

Graphics: 8/10 (YES. It's VERY important to me)
I love your style, because I love trees and plants, which doesn't lag in your level. One not so minor complain though:
-The titlesets used weren't probably the best ones: I think the castle titlesets (when you enter inside that strange tower) could have been impooved. My choice wouldn't be castle bricks and castle walls, you can do better. Be more original! Experiment! The same goes for the honeyhive. Still, the jungle titles used were near to perfect.
Call me picky, but I'm very strict with graphics.

Originality/Creativity: 3.7/5
Eh....the honeyhive was very original, the rest of the level....not that much. Mainly due to the use of clouds, the level's lost a bit of your magic, try to add moving blocks, glitches, or any other thing it comes to your mind.

Effort: 3.8/5
Yes, the level was short. But you know what? The effort was there, in the decoration particularly. However, as I said, the level could have been longer.

Overall: 22.5/30 = 7.2/10 (I'll give you a 4/5)
Your level met my expectatives, but sadly it didn't surprise me. I know your levels are great GM, but sometimes I feel I can get more from you, so keep up the good work. The only way to improove is to LD. Great level!

Thanks for the reviews. But I have some notes to all reviews.


@Harmless: I don't think the clouds were placed wrong. Even I (sucky platformer) could finish it in one try. So no offence, but I don't think you're a really good platformer.

@Blackyoshi: The size of the level was that big because I was hoping to make it that big. But the 20thLDC came around faster than I thought, so I couldn't make it that long. And if I shrank it, tiles glitchs would be likely to happen.
edit: You spelled translation wrong.

@Lordpat: Like I said to BY, the 20thLDC came around so I couldn't make it my best level.

But thanks for the reviews. I'll try to follow these ideas for HoneyHigh Galaxy m2.
